But she thought \u2018He who saves during times of danger has not helped us\u2019 and fainted which is said as \u2018<i><b>sOrginRALE\u2019<\/b><\/i> in previous pAsuram. Seeing this, the parrot, using its common sense, started saying His divine names in the same order, for her to recover from fainted state and sustain herself, the divine names which she taught earlier when she was able to sustain herself.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">In this pAsuram, <span lang=\"en-IN\">s<\/span>he, after hearing those names, recovers and sustains herself, and rejoices about her parrot by saying \u2018<i><b>vaLarththadhanAl payan peRREn varuga\u2019<\/b><\/i><b> <\/b>(Oh come to me dear parrot! I attained the <span lang=\"en-IN\">goal<\/span> of nurturing and raising you).<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><i>muLaikkadhirai kuRunkudiyuL mugilai,<br \/>mUvAmUvulagum kadandhappAl mudhAlAy ninRa<br \/>aLappariya Aramudhai arangam mEya<br \/>andhaNanai andhaNar tham sindhaiyAnai<br \/>viLakkoLiyai maradhakaththaith thiruththANkAvil<br \/>vehhAvil thirumAlai pAdakk kEttu&lt;<br \/>vaLarththadhanAl payan peRREn varugavenRu<br \/>madakkiLiyaik kai kUppi vaNanginALE\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>1<\/i><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"><i>4<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Thirumangaimannan-parakala-nayaki-edit.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-24652\" src=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Thirumangaimannan-parakala-nayaki-edit.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"341\" height=\"573\" srcset=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Thirumangaimannan-parakala-nayaki-edit.jpg 476w, https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Thirumangaimannan-parakala-nayaki-edit-179x300.jpg 179w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 341px) 100vw, 341px\" \/><\/a><em>parakAla nAyaki with madakkiLi<\/em><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Word by word meaning<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"western\"><i>muLaikkadhirai &#8211;<\/i> He who is like a young sun<br \/><i>kuRunkudiyuL mugilai &#8211; <\/i>and bright in thirukkurunkudi as a rainy cloud<br \/><i>mUvA mUvulagum kadandhu &#8211; <\/i>and ever present and beyond the three types of worlds<br \/><i>appAl &#8211; <\/i>in paramapadham<br \/>mudhalAy ninRa &#8211; being present as the leader (for both the worlds (leelA and nithya vithi),<br \/><i>aLappariya &#8211; <\/i>who is not measurable by number (of auspicious qualities of true nature and form)<br \/><i>Ar amudhai &#8211; <\/i>who is like a specal nectar<br \/><i>arangame mEya andhaNanai &#8211; <\/i>who is the ultimate purity, present in great city of thiruvarangam<br \/><i>andhaNar tham sindhaiyAnai &#8211; <\/i>who is having His abode as the mind of <i>vaidhikas<\/i> (those who live based on the words of vEdhas),<br \/><i>thiruththaNkAvil viLakku oLiyai <\/i>&#8211; who provides dharSan as the deity viLakkoLip perumAL in thiruththaNkA,<br \/><i>maradhakaththai &#8211; <\/i>who is having a beautiful form like the green of gem of emerald,<br \/><i>vehhAvil thirumAlai &#8211; <\/i>who the sarvESvaran, who is the husband of SrIdhEvI, who is in reclining resting pose in thiruvekhA,<br \/><i>pAdak kEttu &#8211; <\/i>as the (parrot) sung (about Him), and she listened (to its pAsurams),<br \/><i>madak kiLiyai &#8211;<\/i> looking at that beautiful parrot,<b> <\/b><br \/><i>vaLarththadhanAl payan peRREn varuga enRu <\/i>&#8211;<span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> She called it, saying &#8211; \u2018<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">I got the fulfilment due to nurturing\/raising you; come here\u2019 <\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><br \/><i>kai kUppi vaNanginAL<\/i><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> &#8211; and joined her hands in <\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">anjali form, and prostrated to it<\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>.<\/i><\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<h3><a name=\"__DdeLink__711_2523558867\"><\/a><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">vyAkyAnam <\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>muLaikkathirai &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">This pAsuram includes the divine names in the order in which she had taught the parrot when she was able to sustain herself. Addressing the parrot, \u201cThou say \u2018<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>muLaik kadhir\u2019, thou say \u2018kuRungudiyuL mugil\u2019<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u201d<\/span><i> <\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">is how she had taught.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>muLaikka<\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"><i><b>t<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>hirai &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">He who is having divine and auspicious form (body) which can be devoured by eyes like the sun that rises in the morning. As said in \u2018thathra gOvindhamAsInam prasannAdhithavarchasam | upAsAnchakrirE sarvE kurava: rAjaBhi: saha || (mahAbhAratham &#8211; udhyOga parva &#8211; 89-10] ( (kaNNan the messenger sat in a priceless seat in dhuryOdhana\u2019s palace). All the kaurvas with other kings attended to krishNa who sat there<\/span> <span lang=\"en-IN\">with his<\/span> b<span style=\"font-size: medium;\">rightness like a clear sun)), where the greatness of His divine body was told.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">After emperumAn recovered this <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\">AzhvAr<\/a> from worldly matters, and created interest in him towards Himself, were all done by showing His divine body only, so she taught that first to the parrot. In the first pAsuram too, she said \u2018<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>maNi uruvil bhUtham aindhAy\u2019<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, referring to His divine body that reformed him first. There he talked about His black coloured divine body as \u2018<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>maNi uruvil\u2019 &#8211;<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> But, <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">h<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">ere, by saying \u2018muLaik kadhirai\u2019, would it not mean, like the rising sun His divine body is said to be reddish? How would that fit with the earlier pAsuram? In here, by \u2018<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>muLaik kadhirai\u2019, <\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">it does not talk about reddish divine body. It is only talking about the brightness of His divine body like that of the rising sun. So, even though black, it shined like a rising sun, is the meaning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>kuRum kudiyuL mukilai &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">He did not show this divine body through SAsthrams. Nor did He show it through the advise of an AchAryan. He let me know this only through the divine body in thirukkuRunkudi. In the 2<\/span><sup><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">nd<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> pAsuram, by \u2018mukil uruvam\u2019, he meant \u2018divine body like a cloud\u2019 by considering the nature of removing the suffering, and about his generosity. <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\">AzhvAr<\/a> is meaning the same thing here too in \u2018kuRunkudiyuL mukil\u2019. Like saying that if the cloud sets on top of this particular mountain then it would definitely rain, if emperumAn stands in thirukkuRunkudi, then the whole world would benefit from it, is how He is present.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>uL mukilai &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">It is unlike the clouds that come from some place, pour rain, and go away. This is a cloud that stays put firmly in thirukkuRunkudi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">In the next phrase he says where He, who is affable, came to thirukkuRunkudi and stood steadfast, had come from <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>mUvA muvulakum kadanthu appAl &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">By \u2018mUvA mUvulagu\u2019, he is divining about the eternal AthmAs of three categories (<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>nithyar, mukthar, badhDhar<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><i><b><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">kadanthu &#8211; <\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">He being of great stature than all the sentient and insentient.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><i><b><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">appAl &#8211; <\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">in paramapadham.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>mudhalAy ninRa &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Being the reason <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">f<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">or both (nithya, leela) worlds to exist. For <\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>nithyaSuris, <\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">based on His enjoyability He is the reason for their existence; for people of this world, He gives body and faculties to them such that they would exist (do actions).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>aLappariya Aramudhai &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Being immeasurable in each &#8211; His nature, form, and qualities (<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>svarUpa, rUpa, guNam<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">), like a sea of nectar, being enjoyable unlike anything <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">that could<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> equal or exceed it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><i><b><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">arangam mEya andhaNanai &#8211; <\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">It is like a bubble out of that sea of nectar coming up and getting setting in a pond &#8211; His state of being in the lying posture in SrIrangam. periya perumAL did not come from the divine milky ocean (as is generally said) but He is from SrIvaikuNtam itself &#8211; It is said as in \u2018<\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">aNdarkOn aNi arangan<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> [amalanAdhipirAn &#8211; 10]\u2019 (periya perumAL from paramapadham).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>arangam mEya &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">The way He is present<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> in paramapadham is apt to lead to Him wishing to do incarnations; it would be apt for each of His incarnations (like SrI rAma, SrI krishNa) to end one day (and return to SrIvaikuNtam); His saying \u201c<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">U<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">ntil all the people end their worldly affairs (and wish to go to His abode in paramapadham only) I will not leave and go\u2019, is how He is present here (in SrIrangam, other <a href=\"https:\/\/koyil.org\/index.php\/dhivya-dhesams\/\">dhivyadhEsams<\/a>). Even at the end of a <\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>kalpam<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, when<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i> praLayam<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> occurs, He returns only because there is no one<\/span> <span lang=\"en-IN\">here <\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">wait for.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>andhaNanai &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">He who is having the purity of<\/span> <span lang=\"en-IN\">removing the impurities<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>ahankAram <\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">(sense of independent self)<\/span><i> <\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">and <\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>vishyAnthara prAvaNyam<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> (interest in worldly affairs), by showing His beauty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><i><b><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">andhaNar tham sindhaiyAnai &#8211; <\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">He who would live in the heart of those who became pure. His presence in Srirangam periya kOyil is based on His consideration of the heart of someone who is not interested (in worldly affairs), and so not having hatred (due to not getting the object of his interest). This is as said (by<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/16\/thirumazhisai-azhwar\/\"><em> thirumazhisai AzhvAr<\/em><\/a>) in \u2018<\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">anRu vekhaNaik kidanthadhu ennilAdha munnelAm <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">[<\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">thiruchchandha viruththam<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> &#8211; 64]\u2019 (emperumAn being present in <a href=\"https:\/\/koyil.org\/index.php\/dhivya-dhesams\/\">dhivyadhEsams<\/a> in various postures, was when I was indifferent (now He is in my heart doing all these postures)).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><i><b><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">viLakkOliyai<\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> &#8211; He who not just removes <\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">ahankAram <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">vishayAnthara prAvaNayam, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">but then enters their heart and shows their relationship with Him;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>viLakkoLiyai &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">He who brought out the knowledge; that is &#8211; AthmA\u2019s nature, His nature, hurdles in reaching Him, and the nature of means (Him) which helps overcome the hurdles <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">to<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> attain the benefit (Him).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>thiruththaNkAvil maradhaga<\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>ththai &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Like how one would say \u2018<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>elephant of arumaNavan\u2019<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> &#8211; this elephant is from <\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>arumaNavan <\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">(burmA\/myanmAr) to imply its good quality, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\">AzhvAr<\/a> is saying<\/span> \u2018<span lang=\"en-IN\">the emerAld of <em>thiruththaNkA<\/em><\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">\u2019, to say that if it is the form of the One lying down in thiruththaNkA then<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> i<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">t would be distinguished (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/10\/05\/periyavachan-pillai-english\/\">periyavAchchAn piLLai<\/a> would often say this).<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> Having the form that is green in colour like that of emerald, as said in <\/span><em><span lang=\"en-IN\">\u2018<\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-IN\"><em>pachchai mAmalai pOl mEni<\/em> <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">[<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/08\/thirumalai-2-part-2\/\">thirumAlai &#8211; 2<\/a>]<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"><i>\u2019.<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/10\/05\/periyavachan-pillai-english\/\">periyavAchchAn piLLai<\/a><\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> would say) His being in the state of lying down here is to welcome and remove the tiredness of people coming from north.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\">(Some say that this is about the dhivya dhEsam famously named \u2018<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">pachchai vaNNar\u2019 which is in the city of kAnchIpuram. This is only about thiruththaNkA viLakkoLip perumAL<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> so says <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/10\/05\/periyavachan-pillai-english\/\">periyavAchchAn piLLai<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"><i><b>vekhAvil thirumAlai &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Like how the greatness of form is shown in <em>\u2018<\/em><\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"><em>thiruththaNkAvil &#8211; maradhakam<\/em>\u2019, <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">his nature of being the husband of periya pirAtti (SrI lakshmI) became meaningful after He came to <em>thiruvekhA<\/em>. That is how he divined earlier too &#8211; <em>\u2018villiRuththu melliyal thOL thOyndhAy enRum\u201d, \u201cvekhAvil thuyil amarndha vEndhE enRum\u201d<\/em> &#8211; emperumAn marrying pirAtti, and then both coming with their wedding decoration and staying put (in <em>thiruvekhA<\/em>). Whether it is the time of surrendering or the time enjoying, it is their togetherness is what is the shelter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><i><b><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">pAda <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><span lang=\"en-IN\">&#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">as<em> parakAla nAyaki<\/em> is able to bear His divine names, thinking that I got the opportunity to help at the right time, with that happiness, (the parrot) said (the divine names); and when it said,<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"><i><b>kEttu &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">as her love incited, she heard (the parrot\u2019s words). Earlier, \u2018<\/span><em><span lang=\"en-IN\">sollE enRu &#8211; sOrginRAL<\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-IN\">\u2019 &#8211;<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> when the parrot recited the divine names she was unconscious so no one heard it; now since it is bearable for me to hear His names, the parrot got me to hear it, says she. Like \u2018<\/span><em><span lang=\"en-IN\">selvan nAraNan enRa sol kEttalum <\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-IN\">[<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/10\/thiruvaimozhi-1-10-8-selva-naranan\/\">thiruvAimozhi &#8211; 1.10.8<\/a>]\u2019 (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/18\/nammazhwar-english\/\">nammAzhvAr<\/a> melting at the hearing of His divine name <\/span><em><span lang=\"en-IN\">selva nAraNan<\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-IN\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>vaLarththadhanAl payan peRREn &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Since the divine name that it said is life-sustaining for her, she is saying &#8211; I got the benefit of <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">foster<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">ing you. She is saying \u2018The one who is a friend during danger had gone a<\/span>way creat<span lang=\"en-IN\">ing<\/span> the <span style=\"font-size: medium;\">danger; even in that state, I got you as a friend <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">who<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: medium;\">helps during danger\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><i><b><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">varuga enRu &#8211; <\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">(asking the parrot to come near, or, welcoming the parrot) &#8211; the parrot in her forearm seemed like being at a thirty miles (due to her excessive happiness).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><i><b><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">madak kiLiyai &#8211; <\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">parrot that is shy; parrot that is <\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">obedient.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">(that is),<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><i><b><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">vaLarththadhanAl payan peRREn &#8211; <\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">meaning, the parrot thought &#8211; \u2018Oh she is making her natural relationship to me as based on some reason!\u2019, and \u201cAs I did little service to her as a disciple, she is talking as if I helped her!\u2019, so it felt shy. As the disciple performed some service as suitable for his true nature (of subservience), the master said \u2018<\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">dharmatha: parirakShithA: <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">[SrI rAmAyaNam &#8211; yudhDha kANdam &#8211; 1-11]\u2019 ((SrI rAman said to hanUman who performed the service as per his true nature) &#8211; &#8220;We got saved due to your noble deed (of finding seethA)&#8221;); <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">As she praised, the parrot stood with obedience as per its subservience, like how hanUman stood in front of seethA pirAtti when he went to inform her about SrI rAman, as said in \u2018<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>niBRtha: praNatha: prahva: <\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">[SrI rAmAyaNam &#8211; yudhDha kANdam &#8211; 113-4]\u2019<\/span> (<span lang=\"en-IN\">prostrated<\/span>, <span lang=\"en-IN\">humble and without movement<\/span>, <span lang=\"en-IN\">stooping<\/span>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><b>kai kUppi vaNanginAL &#8211; <\/b><\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Not satisfied with saying so to show her appreciation for its help, she also showed reverence by joining<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> the palms of her hands (<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>anjali<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">). It got rid of its shyness (after seeing that). Reason for that is &#8211; it thought that it should not <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">argue about<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> proper etiquette when she did that out of affection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><i><b><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">vaNanginALE &#8211; <\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Thinking that the parrot was able to tolerate her <\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">anjali,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> (she proceeded further and), she fell on its feet. When <\/span><i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">udaiyavar<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> along with his disciples was going for taking bath, periya nambi prostrated due to affection of seeing the divine group &#8211; udaiyavar was thinking \u201cIf I stopped him to show my humility, then it would amount to accepting his prostration\u201d, (and so, udaiyavar) proceeded without saying anything.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>{valarththadhanAl payan peRREn varuga enRu<\/strong> -When some people complained to perumAL that <em>piLLailOkAcharyar <\/em>has written in SrIvachanabhUshaNam some things that are not as per SAsthram, perumAL called for him to inquire. At that time he had gone to <em>cauvEry<\/em> so his younger brother <em>azhagiya maNavALap perumAL nAyanAr\u00a0<\/em>went to perumAL sannidhi, and explained the accuracy of his brother&#8217;s grantham. perumAL was very happy and honored him with prasAdham etc. When the elder brother came back to his thirumALigai and found out the details from his brother he was very happy with <em>azhagiya maNavALap perumAL nAyanAr <\/em>[and said] <em>&#8211; <strong>vaLarththadhanAL payan peRREn varuga<\/strong>.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><em>Another incident &#8211;\u00a0ananthAzhvAn<\/em> had gone to thirumalai to do service of making and presenting garland of flowers to thiruvenkatamudaiyAn. This was based on emperumAnAr&#8217;s wish. <em>ananthAzhvAn<\/em> created a flower garden and named it as rAmAnusan, and used the flowers from there for his service.
