Full Series<\/a><\/p>\n << Previous<\/a><\/p>\n pArOr solappatta mUnRanRE \u2013 am mUnRum ip pArOr<\/em> \u2013 by the people living in this world ippArOr solappatta mUnRanRE<\/strong> \u2013 aren\u2019t the purushArthams<\/em> (end goals) attained by the people of this world three in count? solappatta<\/em> \u2013 being mentioned (by the people of the world) is representative of being attained too.<\/p>\n pArOr<\/strong> \u2013 without any distinction between young and old, between distinguished and lowly, the end goals attained by the people of the world are three only.<\/p>\n anRE<\/strong> \u2013 hence, AzhwAr denies the existence, apart from these three, of a\u00a0 fourth purushArtham, mOksham<\/em>.<\/p>\n am mUnRum ArAyil thAnE<\/strong> \u2013 if the people of this world were to analyse the three purushArthams<\/em> of aRam<\/em> (righteousness), poruL<\/em> (wealth) and inbam<\/em> (love) which they mention, it is kAmam<\/em> (love) which is dear to me, which alone is the end goal. They will know that the other two, viz. righteousness and wealth, are created only to complement attaining that purushArththam<\/em> of kAmam<\/em>. The term thAnE<\/strong><\/em> is to signify that it is only kAmam <\/em>which alone is there in his divine mind.<\/p>\n What is the certainty after analysing . . . . .<\/p>\n aRam porul inbam enRu<\/strong> \u2013 only righteousness, wealth and love are the purushArthams [which are to be attained].
