Thus, he is called \u2018kruthAnthakruth\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The scriptures hail thus: \u201cThe great demon hiraNnyAksha was killed by varAha bhagavAn\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alternately, bhagavAn propounded his philosophy through various scriptures such as varAha smruthi and purANas. Thus also he is called \u2018kruthAnthakruth\u2019. In this context, \u2018kruthAntha\u2019 refers to the highest philosophy.<\/p>\n<p>Etymology: The one who slew hiraNyAksha \u2013 who was like yama in prowess \u2013 is called \u2018kruthAnthakruth\u2019. Thus, I am called \u2018gOvindha:\u2019\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, bhagavAn is called \u2018gOvindha:\u2019 \u2013 the one who is united with bhUmi.<\/p>\n<p>Etymology: The one who reunited with bhUmi (in the form of varAha), who was lost earlier, is called \u2018gOvindha:\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u0928\u0937\u094d\u091f\u093e\u0902 \u091a \u0927\u0930\u0923\u0940\u0902 \u092a\u0942\u0930\u094d\u0935\u0902 \u0917\u094a\u0935\u093f\u0928\u094d\u0926\u0903 \u0932\u092c\u094d\u0927\u0935\u093e\u0928\u094d \u0907\u0924\u093f |<\/p>\n<p>544) <u>sushENa:<\/u> (\u0938\u0941\u0937\u0946\u0923\u0903)<\/p>\n<p>Thence the ensuing divine names reveal some secrets about the supremacy of bhagavAn. Since bhagavAn possesses an auspicious divine body made of five upanishath manthras \u2013 which is full of Sudhdha sathva, and which bhagavAn uses as an army to win over all the bounded, liberated and ever liberated souls, he is called \u2018sushENa:\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Etymology: Since bhagavAn\u2019s divine form is made of five upanishath manthras (which he uses like an army to win over everyone), he is called \u2018sushENa:\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u092a\u091e\u094d\u091a\u094a\u092a\u0928\u093f\u0937\u0926\u0919\u094d\u0917\u0924\u094d\u0935\u093e\u0924\u094d \u0938\u0941\u0937\u0946\u0923\u0903 \u092a\u0930\u093f\u0915\u0940\u0930\u094d\u0924\u093f\u0924\u0903 |<\/p>\n<p>(Note: All of our bodies \u2013 humans or animals or any other object in this world \u2013 are made of five elements namely earth, water, fire, air and ether. All of these have a mixture of qualities of sathva, rajas and thamas. Unlike these, bhagavAn\u2019s divine body is made of five elements different from ours, namely \u2018panchOpanishath\u2019 \u092a\u091e\u094d\u091a\u094a\u092a\u0928\u093f\u0937\u0924\u094d consisting of paramEshti: \u092a\u0930\u092e\u0946\u0937\u094d\u0920\u093f\u0903, pumAn \u092a\u0941\u092e\u093e\u0928\u094d, viSvam \u0935\u093f\u0936\u094d\u0935\u092e\u094d, nivruththa: \u0928\u093f\u0935\u0943\u0924\u094d\u0924\u0903 and sarva: \u0938\u0930\u094d\u0935\u0903, which are all purely sAthvik in nature \u2013 without even a small trace of rajas and thamas)<\/p>\n<p>545) <u>kanakAngadhI<\/u> (\u0915\u0928\u0915\u093e\u0919\u094d\u0917\u0926\u0940)<\/p>\n<p>bhagavAn is also ever associated with divine ornaments made of gold, which befit the beauty of his supernatural (\u0905\u092a\u094d\u0930\u093e\u0915\u0943\u0924 \u2013 which is beyond this lowly nature that we can see) divine body \u2013 as stated in the previous divine name. Thus, he is called \u2018kanakAngadhI\u2019 \u2013 the one with golden ornaments.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018ini:\u2019 (\u0907\u0928\u093f\u0903) adjunct is used in this divine name, indicating eternal association with such divine jewelry.<\/p>\n<p>The word \u2018kanaka\u2019 in this divine name indicates the distinction of a supernatural material that is different from all that we can see in this world (meaning, the \u2018kanaka\u2019 doesn\u2019t imply the lowly gold that we know of; rather, it is indicative of supernatural gold befitting bhagavAn\u2019s divine body, that cannot be seen in this world otherwise).<\/p>\n<p>Etymology: He who is always bedecked with supernatural divine ornaments made of gold is called \u2018kanakAngadhI\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u0905\u092a\u094d\u0930\u093e\u0915\u0943\u0924\u093e\u0928\u093f \u0926\u093f\u0935\u094d\u092f\u093e\u0928\u093f \u092d\u0942\u0937\u0923\u093e\u0928\u093f \u091a \u0928\u093f\u0924\u094d\u092f\u0936\u0903 |<br \/>\n\u0930\u094c\u0915\u094d\u092e\u093e\u0923\u093f \u0938\u0928\u094d\u0924\u093f \u092f\u0938\u094d\u092f\u093e\u0938\u093e\u0935\u0941\u091a\u094d\u092f\u0924\u0946 \u0915\u0928\u0915\u093e\u0919\u094d\u0917\u0926\u0940 ||<\/p>\n<p>546) <u>guhya:<\/u> (\u0917\u0941\u0939\u094d\u092f\u0903)<\/p>\n<p>Since such a supernatural and distinct divine body of bhagavAn is made of five upanishadhic elements, it is esoteric in nature. Hence, he is called \u2018guhya:\u2019 \u2013 the one with a divine body concealed from the lower mortals.<\/p>\n<p>The root \u2018gu:\u2019 \u0917\u0941\u0939\u094d (concealment) gets the \u2018kyap\u2019 (\u0915\u094d\u092f\u092a\u094d) adjunct by grammatical rules, resulting in this divine name.<\/p>\n<p>Etymology: Since his divine body is made of five upanishadic elements, he is hidden from the public view; and hence called \u2018guhya:\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u092a\u091e\u094d\u091a\u094a\u092a\u0928\u093f\u0937\u0926\u0919\u094d\u0917\u0946\u0928 \u0917\u0942\u0922\u0924\u094d\u0935\u093e\u0924\u094d \u0917\u0941\u0939\u094d\u092f \u0909\u091a\u094d\u092f\u0924\u0946 |<\/p>\n<p>547) <u>gabhIra:<\/u> (\u0917\u092d\u0940\u0930\u0903)<\/p>\n<p>Befitting his absolute supremacy over all entities, bhagavAn possesses profound dignity. Thus, he is called \u2018gabhIra:\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The word \u2018gabhIra:\u2019 (\u0917\u092d\u0940\u0930\u0903) is same as \u2018gambhIra:\u2019 (\u0917\u092e\u094d\u092d\u0940\u0930\u0903), both of which stem from the root \u2018gA:\u2019 (\u0917\u093e\u0939\u094d), suffixed with the \u2018Iran\u2019 (\u0908\u0930\u0928\u094d) adjunct and a little transformation per grammatical rules.<\/p>\n<p>Just as water gets purified by adding the clearing nut (called \u2018nirmalee\u2019), so also every bounded soul gets ridden of its blemishes of ignorance \u2013 which is accumulated from time immemorial \u2013 just by its association with bhagavAn. What, then, can be spoken of about the dignity of bhagavAn himself, who is naturally radiant and devoid of all blemishes?<\/p>\n<p>Etymology: The one whose divine body itself is a manifestation of profound dignity is called \u2018gabhIra:\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u0924\u0926\u094d\u0935\u092a\u0941\u0930\u094d\u0935\u094d\u092f\u0919\u094d\u0917\u094d\u092f\u0917\u093e\u092e\u094d\u092d\u0940\u0930\u094d\u092f\u094a \u0917\u092d\u0940\u0930 \u0907\u0924\u093f \u0915\u0925\u094d\u092f\u0924\u0946 |<\/p>\n<p>548) <u>gahana:<\/u> (\u0917\u0939\u0928\u0903) (also repeated in 384)<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, bhagavAn\u2019s supreme nature and qualities are unfathomable. Even if the oceanic waters were very clear and everything beneath the waters could be seen, yet the depth of the ocean wouldn\u2019t reduce to one\u2019s knee\u2019s level. It would still remain extremely deep. Similarly, bhagavAn\u2019s divine nature and qualities can be seen to some extent by everyone. Yet, that never qualifies anyone to know him in his entirety! Thus, he is called \u2018gahana:\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Etymology: Since bhagavAn cannot be known fully by everyone, he is called \u2018gahana:\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u0905\u0928\u094d\u092f\u0948\u0930\u094d\u0926\u0941\u0930\u0935\u0917\u093e\u0939\u0924\u094d\u0935\u093e\u0924\u094d \u0917\u0939\u0928\u0903 \u092a\u0930\u093f\u0915\u0940\u0930\u094d\u0924\u093f\u0924\u0903 |<\/p>\n<p>549) <u>guptha:<\/u> (\u0917\u0941\u092a\u094d\u0924\u0903)<\/p>\n<p>He is carefully protected (concealed from others) by the fore preceptors (pUrvAchAryas) who know of his profound nature and qualities. Thus, he is called \u2018guptha:\u2019 \u2013 the well concealed one.<\/p>\n<p>Etymology: He who is concealed by the preceptors who know his profoundness is called \u2018guptha:\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u0924\u0926\u094d\u0917\u094c\u0930\u0935\u091c\u094d\u091e\u0948\u0930\u094d\u0917\u0941\u092a\u094d\u0924\u0903 \u0938 \u0917\u0941\u092a\u094d\u0924 \u0907\u0924\u094d\u092f\u092d\u093f\u0926\u0940\u092f\u0924\u0946 |<\/p>\n<p>550) <u>chakragadhAdhara:<\/u> (\u091a\u0915\u094d\u0930\u0917\u0926\u093e\u0927\u0930\u0903)<\/p>\n<p>Where and how does this bhagavAn \u2013 who is well concealed by AchAryas \u2013 manifest?
