Hence, he is called \u2018kAraNam\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Etymology: The one who enables the sense and action organs of all individual souls born in this creation to act is called \u2018kAraNam\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u091c\u0940\u0935\u093e\u0928\u093e\u0902 \u091a\u0915\u094d\u0937\u0941\u0930\u093e\u0926\u0940\u0928\u094d \u092f\u094a \u0939\u0946\u0924\u0942\u0928\u094d \u0915\u093e\u0930\u092f\u0924\u0940\u0924\u093f \u0938\u0903 |<\/p>\n<p>\u092a\u094d\u0930\u094a\u091a\u094d\u092f\u0924\u0946 \u0915\u093e\u0930\u0923\u092e\u094d |<\/p>\n<p>382) <u>karthA<\/u> (\u0915\u0930\u094d\u0924\u093e) (also repeated in 317)<\/p>\n<p>The one who is originally not bound by any of such actions is called \u2018karthA\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Although the individual souls are purely causal for their own actions, fruits and enjoyments, bhagavAn considers all of them as his own out of his love towards the souls.<\/p>\n<p>The SrImath rAmAyaNa hails this great quality of bhagavAn thus: \u201cIn sorrows of all humans, rAma would be sad for them even before the victims themselves. In happiness of all humans, he would be happier than them just like a loving father\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cbhagavAn never enjoys solitude, and hence he decided to multiply\u201d, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Etymology: The one who is actually aloof from the results of such actions (but volunteers to own them) is called \u2018karthA\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u0915\u0930\u094d\u0924\u093e \u0938\u094d\u0935\u0924\u0928\u094d\u0924\u094d\u0930\u0903 \u092a\u0930\u093f\u0915\u0940\u0930\u094d\u0924\u093f\u0924\u0903 ||<\/p>\n<p>383) <u>vikarthA<\/u> (\u0935\u093f\u0915\u0930\u094d\u0924\u093e)<\/p>\n<p>Since bhagavAn voluntarily takes on the ownership of enjoyments of fruits thus, and hence experiences joy and sorrows \u2013 thereby showing transformations, he is called \u2018vikarthA\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>It is absolutely clear that bhagavAn originally isn\u2019t affected by any of these results of various actions, since all such actions and results are driven by the karma of individual souls. However, it is out of sheer compassion and his boundless love towards such fallen souls that he owns such enjoyments of fruits. This is purely his greatness, and not a shortcoming that affects his absolute supremacy. After all, if he were not to be so compassionate towards us, how would such divine auspicious qualities befit him? Is it even wrong to empathize with other grieving souls?<\/p>\n<p>Etymology: The one who is subject to transformations of mind due to the experience of joy and sorrows (of his devotees), he is called \u2018vikarthA\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u0935\u093f\u0915\u0941\u0930\u094d\u0935\u093e\u0923\u094a \u0935\u093f\u0915\u0930\u094d\u0924\u093e \u092f\u094a \u0939\u0930\u094d\u0937\u0936\u094a\u0915\u093e\u0926\u093f\u092d\u093f\u0903 \u0938\u094d\u092e\u0943\u0924\u0903 |<\/p>\n<p>384) <u>gahana:<\/u> (\u0917\u0939\u0928\u0903) (also repeated in 548)<\/p>\n<p>Thus, bhagavAn identifies himself with every individual soul \u2013 mixing well with each of their knowledge levels, enjoyments, nature of actions, etc, as if he was never separate from them anytime. Hence, he is called \u2018vyavasAya:\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The abode of all such planets and constellations \u2013 the dhruva mandala \u2013 is verily bhagavAn\u2019s divine form of the supreme sky. This time is divided by bhagavAn into different units such as kalA, kAshtA, muhUrtha, etc. All these units of time reside in bhagavAn only. It is due to this great deed that bhagavAn himself is called \u2018dhruva:\u2019 \u2013 the one who permanently establishes his devotees in great positions.
