[Two explanations] Since AzhwAr is caring towards thirunAvAy, that care is the protection for the town; alternate explanation &#8211; since AzhwAr is <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>&#8216;s wealth and since fort is required where the wealth is, AzhwArthirunagari is fortified and protected [hence emperumAn is also protected since his main wealth is protected].<\/li>\n<li><em>paN Ar thamizh<\/em> &#8211; thamizh pAsurams which have abundance of tune.<\/li>\n<li><em>maN ANdu<\/em> &#8211; Being opulent with SrIvaishNavaSrI (the wealth of kainkaryam) in this world.<\/li>\n<li><em>maNam kamazhvar malligaiyE<\/em> &#8211; Will be fragrant as jasmine. This is highlighted as a representative to indicate that they will attain sAmyApaththi (equivalence) with bhagavAn who is said to be&nbsp; &#8220;<em>sarvagandha:<\/em>&#8221; (root of all fragrance).
