He cannot destroy anyone [due to his merciful nature]; he is of the nature to say as in SrI rAmAyaNam yudhdha kANdam 18.19 &#8220;<em>yadhivA rAvaNasvayam<\/em>&#8221; (even if it is rAvaNa himself, bring him). Building a bridge in the ocean, surrounding lankA, subsequently sending angadhap perumAL as messenger of peace, and when rAvaNa was caught, SrI rAma said in SrI rAmAyaNam yudhdha kANdam 59.144 \u201c<em>gachchAnujAnAmi<\/em>\u201d (Leave now and return tomorrow) and let him escape. emperumAn waited thinking &#8220;would he become favourable now?&#8221; When rAvaNa was firm on his thoughts and stood in front of emperumAn as if saying &#8220;I want to be killed&#8221;, emperumAn killed him with tears in his eyes. He only kills them due to their unfavourable acts and does not kill them willingly.<\/li>\n<li><em>amarar &#8230;<\/em> &#8211; To eliminate the sorrows caused by asuras to dhEvas, he will cause sorrows to the asuras.<\/li>\n<li><em>kadu vinai nanjE<\/em> &#8211; Oh one who is an irreversible poison which will kill immediately!<\/li>\n<li><em>ennudai amudhE<\/em> &#8211; That same poison is nectar for <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a>. This is unlike the brackish water (amrutham) which was desired by dhEvas.<\/li>\n<li><em>kali vayal &#8230;<\/em> &#8211; To get this amrutham, we need not churn the ocean or go to svargam; it is the nectar which is present in thiruppuLingudi.<\/li>\n<li><em>kali vayal<\/em> &#8211; having abundant fields<\/li>\n<li><em>vadivu iNai &#8230;<\/em> &#8211; There is no match for her form. Even bhagavAn is no match for her; she is fully glorified in SrI rAmAyaNam sundhara kANdam 16.5 \u201c<em>thanjEyam asithEkshaNA<\/em>\u201d (one who is having beautiful dark eyes and a good match for perumAL).<\/li>\n<li><em>maRRai nila magaL<\/em> &#8211; SrI bhUmip pirAtti who is equally glorious.<\/li>\n<li><em>pidikkum mel adiyai<\/em> &#8211; Even when they massage his divine feet, they would do it carefully thinking &#8220;will they be hurt?&#8221; due to their tender nature; such divine feet.<\/li>\n<li><em>kodu vinaiyEnum pidikka<\/em> &#8211; After <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2019\/04\/thiruvaimozhi-8-8-kangal-sivandhu\/\">thiruvAimozhi 8.8<\/a> &#8220;<em>kaNgaL sivandhu<\/em>&#8220;, <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> would not consider his lowliness [since emperumAn highlights that AthmAs are very dear to him]. He is saying as in &#8220;<em>pAviyEn<\/em>&#8221; (My bad!) thinking &#8220;They are present there, I have the right to serve, yet I am unable to serve&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li><em>nI oru nAL kUvudhal varudhal seyyAyE<\/em> &#8211; You who are greatly enjoyable and are present in thiruppuLingudi, to sustain us, should invite me there or mercifully come here. <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> did not say &#8220;varudhal&#8221; (you should come) first, since he did not want to disturb his togetherness with pirAttis there.
