It can also be read along with previous phrase and understood as &#8220;instead of thinking about the obvious non-existence of joy&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li><em>thollai &#8230;<\/em> &#8211; For many persons from ancient times, as the birth led them to death, they perished without using the time in-between for the real goal.
