Only in righteous war (Her beauty getting felt in His heart) would He suffer; she got caught in deceitful war (His beauty reaching her heart), says the mother; (Since it was natural union (gAndharva type wedding) He made His beauty reach her heart without letting her beauty get into His heart).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i><b>mattu vikki \u2013 <\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>mattu \u2013 <\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">honey. It talks about how with great eagerness the beautiful bees got into drinking honey (from the flowers in her hair), and they got hiccup due to great desire for it; it talks about how even after drinking up to the neck its desire for it did not reduce and since there was not enough time for <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">honey<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> to be digested they got hiccup; it talks about how they are having hiccup due to the great taste of that honey; it talks about how the bees <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">are <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">neither<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> able to drink what is in mouth <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">or spit it out because of its great taste, and so they are keeping it under its tongue; for humans both food and water help sustain life so if they get hiccup due to food they could relieve from it by drinking water; but since bees are named \u201c<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>madhuvratham\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/span><b> <\/b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">as <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">their <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">only food is honey, if they get hiccup due to honey, it can be rectified only with honey or by avoiding honey; <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Since it says <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>\u2018pathim viSvasya\u2019 <\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">(He is the lord for all the worlds), a danger that fell upon a devoted wife can only be rectified by the lord and not by other worldly interests.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i><b>maNi vaNdu \u2013 <\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">(Beautiful bee)<\/span><\/span><i><b> <\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Like those who have consumed medicine that protects the body, the bee is being without gray hair, wrinkles, or ageing. It reminds us about Him who is described as \u2018<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>arumbinai alarai<\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> [periya thirumozhi \u2013 7.10.1]\u2019 (bud, blossoming flower (how emperumAn is described as always being young)). As said in \u2018<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>thUviyam puLLudaith theiva vaNdu<\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> \u2013 9.9.4]\u2019 (the divine bee that is having the beautiful garuda bird) the bee that is emperumAn suffers upon seeing her hair in the head \u2013 this bee <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">i<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">s suffering due to drinking excessive honey from her hair reminds <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">about <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">that;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i><b>muralum \u2013 <\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">As it was excessively happy to drink the honey up to its neck, it is not able to stay in one place and since it cannot call with its mouth, it is buzzing;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i><b>mada mAnai \u2013 <\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">She who was submissive to me is now not submissive. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Or<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> it means, by <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>mada <\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> (<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><i>madappam<\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">) representing quality of a female, she having such natural quality of women. Even if there is excessive sadness due to separation, she would control that unbeknown<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">st<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> to anyone, and not show any change <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">but<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> make Him change \u2013 such a girl is now asking openly, \u2018Where is emperumAn\u2019s thiruvarangam?\u2019.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">idhu seydhAr thammai \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Since it is not possible to describe with words the trouble she is undergoing, she is showing by her arm point<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">ing<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> to her situation as \u2018this\u2019, like showing an ocean.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">idhu seydhAr \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Earlier if I set her hair plait, she would come back without any change to it; now who has made her hairdo to look without any shape <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">or form<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">?, she <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">ask<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">s. Or, who is it that made the bees go empty stomach by drying the flowers in her hair?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">thammai \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">She<\/span><\/span><b> <\/b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">is establishing His greatness <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">based on s<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">eeing the state of her misery; Oh can there be someone having such greatness of putting her into this misery?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">thammai \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Oh what a greatness this is! <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">What kind of great honey from the hair of noble women (SrI, bhUmi, neeLA) He has drunk and grown so! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">thammai \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Oh one who is the big lover who has made her a great role model in being a lover?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">thammai \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">If it is undesirable for her to see her daug<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">hter<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> in this position, she <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">w<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">ould have use<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">d<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> normal words like \u2018he\u2019 when asking who has done this to her. She says <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">to the diviner &#8211;<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> you do not think that it is better to avoid mentioning the person directly since it was a natural union (gAndharva type marriage); it is liked by me; so say it as is. When giving treatment one should know about the disease as is, isn\u2019t it?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">sol ennach chonnAL \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">(I asked her to say and she said) \u2013 The words which have to be asked after serving (an AchAryan) for a long time, I <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">prompted<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> her to say and she said. Like the greatness of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> and of <\/span><\/span><i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">gIthOpanisha<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">dh<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">AchAryan, <\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">is the greatness of this diviner! <\/span><\/span><i><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">udaiyavar<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/i> <span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">(out of his kindness) <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">would say the meanings to whoever gave their ears with <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">wish to learn <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">(<\/span><\/span><i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">sevi thAzhththArkkellAm vArththai sollip pOndhAr <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">udaiyavar<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">);<\/span><\/span> <i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">gIthOpanisha<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">d<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">hAchAryan<\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> created interest in him (arjuna) (through the 18 chapters) and told him the meaning (charma SlOkam).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">sonnAL \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Like (the pleasantness of) breeze and <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">dew <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">drops, is there a need for any meaning to what she said? Just her <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">saying <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">words were great that <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">they suffice.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">sonnAL \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Like <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">how <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">it was needed for me to hear, she <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">told<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> like it was needed for her to say. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">For an AchAryan there is a need for someone (disciple) to hear his words that come out due to overflowing experience after enjoying about emperumAn; disciple shall <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">sustain <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">his life <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">by listening<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">; AchAryan shall sustain his life <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">by saying<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">; the disciple hearing is the reason for his revival; for AchAryan, saying is the reason for his experience.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">nangAy \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">(mother addressing a woman who came to inquire) &#8211; You are having the completeness of not considering other gods and wordly matters, so I am able to tell you the words that she (diviner) told me. Like how I was needed for her (diviner), you are needed for me, says mother. What is it that she (diviner) said?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">kadal vaNNar idhu seydhAr \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">She (daughter) <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">asked<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> \u2018<\/span><\/span><i><b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">emperumAn thiruvarangam engE\u2019 <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">(where is SrIrangam of emperumAn?). It seems He saw her once and embraced her; she got caught in that beauty; if one is involved in His nature, they would have to be involved in His qualities also which are inseparable from His nature; for those involved in His divine <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">form<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> that highlights both His true nature and His qualities, there is no need to go somewhere else. It is His divine form that creates interest; it is His divine form that is suitable for seeking shelter; what is enjoyable is also His divine form.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">idhu seydhAr \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u2018theerA nOi seydhAn<\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> [siriya thirumadal \u2013 52]<\/span><\/span><i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u2019 <\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">(He created incurable disease (of love)). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><b><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">idhu \u2013<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> (this) \u2013 Like how one can identify <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">easily that it was due to drowning in water when seeing a fainted person<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">, her love disease is clear from looking at her. This is \u2018<\/span><\/span><i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">dheiva nannOy <\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">[thiruviruththam &#8211; 53]\u2019 (disease (of love) due to emperumAn). Since this disease occurred due to love towards emperumAn, this is a distinguished great disease. What the learned people yearn as the ultimate benefit (<\/span><\/span><i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">purushArtham<\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">), she got this disease of love by the grace of emperumAn without any effort from her side. As said in \u2018<\/span><\/span><i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">janmAnthara sahasrEshu <\/span><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">[laghu \u2013 vishNu smruthi]\u2019, etc., (<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">For those who have gotten rid of their sins by doing gyAna and bhakthi yOga in thousand earlier births, love towards krishNan is born<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">), <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">the devotion reached by those after trying other means for thousands of years, she has got that love by the grace of emperumAn without expecting any effort from her.
