In this pAsuram, he says that once <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> became his mother and father, what can happen even if he were to suffer the effects of those sins.<\/p>\n<p>Let us go through the pAsuram and its meanings:<\/p>\n<p><em>adar pon mudiyAnai Ayiram pErAnai<\/em><br \/>\n<em>sudar koL sudar AzhiyAnai idar kadiyum<\/em><br \/>\n<em>mAthA pithuvAga vaiththEn enadhuLLE<\/em><br \/>\n<em>yAdhAgil yAdhE ini<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Word by Word Meanings<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>adar pon mudiyAnai \u2013 having a divine crown which can destroy (enemies on merely sighting them)<\/p>\n<p>Ayiram pErAnai \u2013 one who has thousands of divine names<\/p>\n<p>sudar koL sudar AzhiyAnai \u2013 sarvESvara (lord of all) who has the divine chakra (disc) which has within it, all the objects which emit radiance<\/p>\n<p>idar kadiyum \u2013 removing (my) hurdles<\/p>\n<p>mAthA pithuvAga \u2013 as mother and father<\/p>\n<p>enadhu uLLE vaiththEn \u2013 established in my mind<\/p>\n<p>ini \u2013 from now onwards<\/p>\n<p>yAdhu Agil yAdhu \u2013 what does it matter, whatever happens?<\/p>\n<h3><strong>vyAkyAnam<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>adar pon mudiyAnai<\/strong> \u2013 one who has a divine crown, which is beautiful, which will destroy enemies the moment it sees them and which displays the fact that <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> is the emperor for all the worlds,<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ayiram pErAnai <\/strong>\u2013 having many divine names which reveal such beauty, greatness etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>sudar koL sudar AzhiyAnai<\/strong> \u2013 sarvESvara who has divine disc which contains within it, all the objects which are radiant. Alternatively, the term <em>sudar koL sudar Azhi<\/em> could be taken to mean that the radiant divine disc is capable of defeating all the other radiant objects. Due to this distinction, it is implied here that the divine disc, apart from destroying enemies, is also an ornament to be worn for <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>idar kadiyum mAthA pithAvAga vaiththEn enadhuLLE<\/strong> \u2013 I retained inside my mind <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> as&nbsp; mother and father who will remove all my hurdles. The parents whom we see in the world are those who will observe fasts and other rituals in order to beget offspring and will nurture the offspring, thus creating sorrows for him. In order to highlight that emperumAn removes those sorrows, <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> qualifies emperumAn with the words <em>idar kadiyum<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>yAdhAgil yAdhE ini<\/strong> \u2013 what does it matter whether I suffer due to the sins or not?
