Previously <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a>&nbsp;instructed about&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2019\/01\/periya-thiruvandhadhi-55\/\">emperumAn<\/a>&#8216;s ultimate saulabhyam (easy approachability) but he still suffered due to the interaction with samsAris who even suppress the enjoyment of emperumAn&#8217;s saulabhyam; to eliminate that suffering, emperumAn pointed out to AzhwAr the SrIvaishNavas who are like his pAdharEkhA (the lines in his foot), and seeing them, AzhwAr placed his head on their feet, praised them for being totally engaged with emperumAn in many ways, and became pleased reaching up to ultimate devotion towards them in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/09\/thiruvaimozhi-3-7-payilum\/\">thiruvAimozhi 3.7<\/a> &#8220;<em>payilum sudaroLi<\/em>&#8220;; <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/mamunigal\/\">mAmunigaL<\/a> mercifully explains the essence of this decad starting with \u201c<em>payilum thirumAl<\/em>\u201c. This is similar to SrI rAmAyaNam ayOdhyA kANdam 1.1 \u201c<em>gachchathA mAthulakulam bharathEna<\/em>\u201d (one who is going along with bharatha to his maternal uncle\u2019s place as a sword will be take along by the owner).<\/p>\n<h3>pAsuram<\/h3>\n<p><em>payilum thirumAl padham thannil nenjam<\/em><br \/><em>thayaluNdu niRkum thadhiyaRku &#8211; iyalvudanE<\/em><br \/><em>ALAnArkkALAgum mARan adi adhanil<\/em><br \/><em>ALAgAr sanmam mudiyA<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/yourlisten.com\/sarathy.thothathri\/thiruvaimozhi-nurrandhadhi-27\">Listen<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><iframe src=\"\/\/yourlisten.com\/embed\/html5?17752125\" style=\"width:100%;\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>word-by-word meanings<\/h3>\n<p>payilum &#8211; one who naturally unites with devotees<br \/>thirumAl &#8211; Sriya:pathi&#8217;s (SrIman nArAyaNa&#8217;s)<br \/>padham thannil &#8211; on the divine feet<br \/>nenjam thayaluNdu niRkum &#8211; remaining with their heart fixed on<br \/>thadhiyarkku &#8211; for the devotees<br \/>iyalvudanE ALAnArkku &#8211; for those who are properly serving<br \/>ALAgum &#8211; to serve<br \/>mARan &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a>&#8216;s<br \/>adi adhanil &#8211; divine feet<br \/>AL AgAr &#8211; those who do not serve<br \/>sanmam &#8211; birth<br \/>mudiyA &#8211; will not end<\/p>\n<h3>Simple Translation<\/h3>\n<p>For those who do not serve the divine feet of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> who desired to serve those devotees who remain with their heart fixed on the divine feet of Sriya:pathi and who are properly serving such Sriya:pathi, birth [in this material realm] will not end.<\/p>\n<h3>Highlights from vyAkyAnam<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><em>payilum thirumAl<\/em> &#8211; At the divine feet of Sriya:pathi who naturally unites with his devotees. With this &#8220;<em>thirunArANan<\/em>&#8221; is highlighted. &#8220;<em>payilum thiru<\/em>&#8221; also means SrI mahAlakshmi who is always united with <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2019\/01\/periya-thiruvandhadhi-55\/\">emperumAn<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><em>padham thannil nenjam thayaluNdu niRkum thadhiyarkku<\/em> &#8211; This implies &#8220;<em>pAdham paNiya vallArai<\/em>&#8221; (those who worship the divine feet) [3rd pAsuram]; &#8220;<em>nenjam thayaluNdu niRkai<\/em>&#8221; means remaining fully fixed on his divine feet after meditating upon their enjoyability. It is said in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2018\/07\/thiruvaimozhi-7-1-10-en-paranjudare\/\">thiruvAimozhi 7.1.10<\/a> &#8220;<em>un iNaith thAmaraigatku <\/em><em>anburugi niRkum adhu<\/em>&#8221; (I have attained the ultimate, fluid [melted] state out of love towards your mutually fitting pair of divine feet). Alternatively, <em>thayal<\/em> implies <em>thaiyal<\/em>, that is being attached to the divine feet. <em>thadhiyarkku<\/em> implies those who have &#8220;relationship to bhagavAn&#8221; as their identity. Their identity is as explained in &#8220;<em>payilum thiruvudaiyAr<\/em>&#8221; (those who have eternal wealth of being related to bhagavAn) [1st pAsuram], &#8220;<em>thALum thadakkaiyum kUppip paNiyumavar<\/em>&#8221; (those who join their hands together and feet together and worship) [2nd pAsuram], &#8220;<em>pAdham paNiya vallAr<\/em>&#8221; (those who can worship <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2019\/01\/periya-thiruvandhadhi-55\/\">emperumAn<\/a>&#8216;s divine feet) [3rd pAsuram] and &#8220;<em>thirunAraNan thoNdar<\/em>&#8221; (SrIman nArAyaNa&#8217;s servitor) [4th pAsuram].<\/li>\n<li><em>iyalvudanE ALAnArkku ALAgum mARan adi adhanil<\/em> &#8211; At the divine feet of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> who considers his nature to be surrendered to those who are servitors of <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2019\/01\/periya-thiruvandhadhi-55\/\">emperumAn<\/a> for his beauty and decorative ornaments and weapons.<\/li>\n<li><em>AL AgAr<\/em> &#8211; those who do not become servitors.<\/li>\n<li><em>sanmam mudiyA<\/em> &#8211; The end of their birth will not occur. As said in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/04\/thiruvaimozhi-2-6-7-mudiyadhadhu-en\/\">thiruvAimozhi 2.6.7<\/a> &#8220;<em>emar kIzh mEl ezhu piRappum<\/em> <em>vidiyA ven naragaththu enRum sErdhal mARinar<\/em>&#8221; (those who are related to me in seven generations before me and after me will ever avoid reaching this hot hell named samsAram where there is no relief), only for those who are related to <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a>, the connection with this samsAram will end.
