<a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a>, who is as said in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/07\/thiruvaimozhi-2-10-11-porul-enru\/\">thiruvAimozhi 2.10.11<\/a> \u201c<em>maruLil vaNkurugUr vaN SatakOpan<\/em>\u201c (the leader of the distinct\/beautiful <a href=\"http:\/\/azhwarthirunagari.koyil.org\/\">AzhwArthirunagari<\/a>, being devoid of ignorance), enjoyed <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">azhagar emperumAn<\/a> in thirumalai, as the one<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>who appears like a peak on the mountain as said in periya thirumozhi 7.10.3 &#8220;<em>vada mA malai uchchi<\/em>&#8221; (the peak on the great northern mountain),<\/li>\n<li>who is resembling a well branched out and blossomed kalpaka tharu (celestial wish-fulfilling tree) as said in periyAzhwAr thirumozhi 4.3.11 &#8220;<em>mElirum kaRpagaththai<\/em>&#8221; (the kalpaka tree on top) and having the proper match between <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>&#8216;s divine limbs and the ornaments which decorate them,<\/li>\n<li>who is having great glories which cannot be comprehended by vEdham and vaidhika personalities, and<\/li>\n<li>who is having ASritha vAthsalyam (motherly care towards his devotees) which is greater than the previously explained aspects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>He became blissful and revealed his overwhelming emotions in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/07\/thiruvaimozhi-3-1-mudichchodhi\/\">thiruvAimozhi 3.1<\/a> &#8220;<em>mudichchOdhiyAy<\/em>&#8220;; <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/mamunigal\/\">mAmunigaL<\/a> mercifully explains this starting with \u201c<em>mudiyAr thirumalaiyil<\/em>\u201c.<\/p>\n<h3>pAsuram<\/h3>\n<p><em>mudiyAr thirumalaiyil mUNdu ninRa mARan <\/em><br \/>\n<em>adivAram thannil azhagar vadivazhagaip <\/em><br \/>\n<em>paRRi mudiyum adiyum padigalanum<\/em><br \/>\n<em>muRRum anubaviththAn mun<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/yourlisten.com\/sarathy.thothathri\/thiruvaimozhi-nurrandhadhi-21\">pAsuram 21<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><iframe style=\"width: 100%;\" src=\"\/\/yourlisten.com\/embed\/html5?17750325\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>word-by-word meanings<\/h3>\n<p>mudi Ar &#8211; having peaks<br \/>\nthirumalaiyil &#8211; in thirumalai (thirumAlirunjOlai hill)<br \/>\nmUNdu ninRa &#8211; firmly remained and enjoyed<br \/>\nmARan &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a><br \/>\nadivAram thannil &#8211; in the divine foothill<br \/>\nazhagar &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">azhagar emperumAn<\/a>&#8216;s<br \/>\nvadivu azhagaip paRRi &#8211; on the beauty of his divine form<br \/>\nmudiyum &#8211; crown<br \/>\nadiyum &#8211; anklet<br \/>\npadigalanum &#8211; other ornaments on his divine form<br \/>\nmuRRum &#8211; fully<br \/>\nmun &#8211; previously<br \/>\nanubaviththAn &#8211; enjoyed.<\/p>\n<h3>Simple Translation<\/h3>\n<p>Previously, <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> firmly remained and enjoyed the thirumalai which is having peaks and fully enjoyed the beauty of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">azhagar emperumAn<\/a>&#8216;s divine form, along with his crown, anklet and other ornaments on his divine form.<\/p>\n<h3>Highlights from vyAkyAnam<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><em>mudiyAr thirumalaiyil mUNdu ninRa mARan<\/em> &#8211; As said in &#8220;<em>virAjathE vrushAthrEScha Sikaram dhaSadhAthubhi: | bhUshithO bhUpathiriva kirItE nArkavarchasA ||<\/em>&#8220;, with abundant peaks which resemble the tall crown of the supreme lord as said in thiruviruththam 50 \u201c<em>viNmudhal nAyagan nILmudiyOdoththa&#8221; <\/em>(resembling white pearl garland decorating the divine crown of paramapadhanAthan) and in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/06\/thiruvaimozhi-2-10-2-sadhirila-madavar\/\">thiruvAimozhi 2.10.2<\/a> &#8220;<em>madhi thavazh kudumi<\/em>&#8221;\u00a0 (the peak where moon crawls), and in periyAzhwAr thirumozhi 4.3.10 &#8220;<em>Ayiram paindhalai ananthan<\/em>&#8221; (well-spread, thousand hooded serpent, AdhiSEsha), AzhwAr remained firm and enjoyed the thirumalaiyAzhwAr (the divine hill).<\/li>\n<li><em>adivAram thannil azhagar vadivazhagaip paRRi<\/em> &#8211; In the divine foothills of the divine hill, the divine form of azhagar emperumAn as said in periyAzhwAr thirumozhi 4.3.11 &#8220;<em>mAlirunjOlai ennum malaiyai udaiya malaiyai<\/em>&#8221; (the hill (<a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>) who has the hill mAlirunjOlai), is making his divine nature and auspicious qualities subdued\/unmanifest. Enjoying the beauty of such divine form and having that as the target for enjoyment. While enjoying it,<\/li>\n<li><em>mudiyum adiyum padigalanum muRRum anubaviththAn mun<\/em> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/mamunigal\/\">mAmunigaL<\/a> is mercifully following the words of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> in &#8220;<em>mudichchOdhiyAy unadhu mugachchOdhi malarndhadhuvO <\/em><em>adichchOdhi nI ninRa thAmaraiyAy alarndhadhuvO<\/em> <em>padichchOdhi Adaiyodum palakalanAy nin paim pon <\/em><em>kadicchOdhi kalandhadhuvO thirumAlE katturaiyE<\/em>&#8221; (Did the radiance of your divine face rise upwards to become the radiance in your divine crown? Did the radiance of your divine feet spread downwards to become the radiance in the lotus flower where you stand? Did the radiance of your well spread beautiful waist spread downwards and upwards with the naturally radiant cloth and the divine ornaments you wear? Since you are the lord of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sri-mahalakshmi\/\">SrI mahAlakshmi<\/a>, as said in SrIvishNu purANam 1.8.18 \u201carthO vishNuriyam vANi\u201d (SrI vishNu is the meaning and SrI mahAlakshmi is the word), as you are the one who are the controller of words and meanings, mercifully explain this to remove my doubts) [1st pAsuram], which highlights <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>&#8216;s inconceivable form. It is said in SrI rAmAyaNam AraNya kaNdam 1.1 \u201c<em>rUpam samhananam lakshmIm<\/em>\u201d (his form, beauty and tenderness).<\/li>\n<li><em>mudiyum adiyum<\/em> &#8211; He enjoyed starting from the crown and down to the anklet.<\/li>\n<li><em>padigalanum<\/em> &#8211; The ornaments which are present on his form in between the crown and anklet; alternatively &#8211; it is saying the ornaments which are matching well on his form. Just as a waterfalls [from the crown] will split into various floods and lead to the river [waist]. In this manner, being the wavy ocean of beauty which engages the mind.<\/li>\n<li><em>muRRum anubaviththAn mun<\/em> &#8211; It is saying &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> fully enjoyed it previously&#8221;, or saying &#8220;he [AzhwAr] first enjoyed him [emperumAn] fully&#8221;. <em>muRRum<\/em> indicates all that is said in the &#8220;<em>mudichchOdhi<\/em>&#8221; [1st] pAsuram; further, the various other references [in subsequent pAsurams] which mercifully explain the first pAsuram such as &#8220;<em>katturaikkil &#8211; sutturaiththa nan pon un thirumEni oLi ovvAdhu<\/em>&#8221; (when clearly said &#8211; the best molten gold that is prepared does not compare to the collective radiance of your divine form) [2nd pAsuram], &#8220;<em>paranjOdhi<\/em>&#8221; (supreme radiance) [3rd pAsuram], &#8220;<em>nin mAttAya malar puraiyum thiru uruvam<\/em>&#8221; (your tender flower-like divine form) [4th pAsuram], &#8220;<em>malar kadhirin sudar udambAy<\/em>&#8221; (radiant light with blossomed rays as his form) [5th pAsuram], &#8220;<em>pOdhuvAzh punandhuzhAy mudiyinAy! pUvinmEl <\/em><em>mAdhuvAzh mArbinAy!<\/em>&#8221; (Oh one who is having the divine chest which is the eternal abode of SrI mahAlakshmi, who was eternally residing in the lotus flower!)
