What is the root cause of your anger?) in this <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/07\/thiruvaimozhi-1-4-anjiraiya\/\">thiruvAimozhi 1.4<\/a> &#8220;<em>anjiRaiya madanArAy<\/em>&#8220;; <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/mamunigal\/\">mAmunigaL<\/a> mercifully explains this starting with &#8220;<em>anjiRaiya putkaL thamai<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<h3>pAsuram<\/h3>\n<p><em>anjiRaiya putkaL thamai AzhiyAnukku nIr<\/em><br \/>\n<em>en seyalaich chollum ena irandhu &#8211; vinja <\/em><br \/>\n<em>nalangiyadhum mARaningE nAyaganaith thEdi<\/em><br \/>\n<em>malangiyadhum paththi vaLam<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/yourlisten.com\/sarathy.thothathri\/thiruvaimozhi-nurrandhadhi-04\">Listen<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><iframe style=\"width: 100%;\" src=\"\/\/yourlisten.com\/embed\/html5?17748460\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>word-by-word meanings<\/h3>\n<p>mARan &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a><br \/>\nam siRaiya putkaL thamai &#8211; (looking at) birds (such as crane) who have beautiful wings<br \/>\nAzhiyAnukku &#8211; &#8220;for sarvESvaran who is having chakrAyudham (disc)<br \/>\nnIr &#8211; you<br \/>\nen seyalai &#8211; my state<br \/>\nsollum ena &#8211; inform him&#8221;<br \/>\nirandhu &#8211; prayed<br \/>\nvinja &#8211; greatly<br \/>\nnalangiyadhum &#8211; losing wellness<br \/>\ningE &#8211; in this world<br \/>\nnAyaganai &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> who is the lord<br \/>\nthEdi &#8211; searched<br \/>\nmalangiyadhum &#8211; bewildered<br \/>\npaththi vaLam &#8211; greatness of (his) bhakthi (devotion)<\/p>\n<h3>Simple Translation<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> looked at the birds with beautiful wings, and prayed &#8220;you go and inform my state to sarvESvaran who is having chakrAyudham&#8221;, greatly losing wellness, searched in this world for <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> who is the lord and became bewildered; this is the greatness of his bhakthi.<\/p>\n<h3>Highlights from vyAkyAnam<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><em>am siRaiya putkaL thamai<\/em> &#8211; Birds which are having distinguished wings. <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> mercifully said &#8220;<em>anjiRaiya mada nArAy<\/em>&#8221; (Oh tender\/shy female crane which has beautiful wings) [1st pAsuram]. putkaL indicates what was mercifully said by AzhwAr as &#8220;<em>inakkuyilgAL<\/em>&#8221; (group of cuckoos) [2nd pAsuram], &#8220;<em>mennadaiya annangAL<\/em>&#8221; (swans which have graceful walk) [3rd pAsuram], &#8220;<em>nanneela maganRilgAL<\/em>&#8221; (beautifully blue colored ibises) [4th pAsuram], &#8220;<em>vaN siRu kurugE<\/em>&#8221; (young stork which is pleasing to the eyes) [5th pAsuram], &#8220;<em>Azhi vari vaNdE<\/em>&#8221; (Oh circle shaped beetle which has lines in our body) [6th pAsuram], &#8220;<em>iLangiLiyE<\/em>&#8221; (Oh young parrot) [7th pAsuram], &#8220;<em>siRu pUvAy<\/em>&#8221; (Oh bird that is small due to your tender age!) [8th pAsuram] etc.<\/li>\n<li><em>AzhiyAnukku nIr<\/em> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/mamunigal\/\">mAmunigaL<\/a> mercifully showing what is mercifully spoken by <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> as in &#8220;<em>kadal Azhi nIr thORRi adhanuLLE kaN vaLarum adal Azhi ammAnai<\/em>&#8221; (When you see the master (<a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>) of the war-ready chakkaraththAzhwAr, who is lying down in the milk ocean) [10th pAsuram]. vyUha state of emperumAn is the target of first dhUthu (message) of AzhwAr.<\/li>\n<li><em>nIr<\/em> &#8211; You who can see through vyUha state.<\/li>\n<li><em>en seyalaich chollum ena irandhu<\/em> &#8211; praying &#8220;please inform my state to him&#8221;. &#8220;My state&#8221;\u00a0 means what is explained in &#8220;<em>madhi ellAm uL kalangi mayangumAl<\/em>&#8221; (with the intellect totally shaken up, being bewildered) [3rd pAsuram], &#8220;<em>nannIrmai ini avar kaN thangAdhu<\/em>&#8221; (Can you tell him or not that I cannot sustain myself in separation?) [4th pAsuram], &#8220;<em>malgu nIrk kaNNERku<\/em>&#8221; (for me who is having abundantly teary eyes) [5th pAsuram], &#8220;<em>avar Avi thuvarAmun<\/em>&#8221; (before she ceases to exist) [6th pAsuram], &#8220;<em>sAyalodu maNi mAmai thaLarndhEn<\/em>&#8221; (lost my radiance and praiseworthy complexion) [8th pAsuram]. Here, it is also implicitly highlighting how <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> revealed his aparAdha sahathvam saying &#8220;<em>en pizhaiyE ninaindhu aruLi aruLAdha thirumAlArkku<\/em> e<em>n pizhaiththAL thiruvadiyin thagavinukku enRu oru vAych chol<\/em>&#8221; (To the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> who is seeing my mistakes instead of seeing his own mistakes and mercifully not blessing me, you go and tell him \u201cwhat mistake did\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">parAngusa nAyaki<\/a> do, that cannot be forgiven by you who are the master of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sri-mahalakshmi\/\">pirAtti (SrI mahAlakshmi<\/a> who triggers his compassion) and having compassion as your intrinsic nature?\u201d). In this way, manifesting his helpless state of suffering.<\/li>\n<li><em>vinja nalangiyadhum<\/em> &#8211; greatly losing the wellness.<\/li>\n<li><em>mARan ingE nAyaganaith thEdi malangiyadhum paththi vaLam<\/em> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a>, here in this world, in the milk ocean which is where he hears the complaints [of dhEvas], searching for his lord who is said as &#8220;<em>adal Azhi ammAn<\/em>&#8220;, became bewildered as said in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2018\/11\/periya-thiruvandhadhi-34\/\">periya thiruvandhAdhi 34<\/a> &#8220;<em>pAlAzhi nI kidakkum paNbai yAm kEttEyum <\/em><em>kAlAzhum nenjazhiyum kaN suzhalum<\/em>&#8221; (When I hear about the beauty with which you are reclining in the milk ocean, my legs become weak, my heart melts and my eyes spin around). This bewilderment is the greatness of his bhakthi.
