When asked if engagement with this <em>SarIra<\/em> ( body) will not be a hurdle to this joy, he says that those who have the zeal to reach <em>paramapadham<\/em> (SrIvaikuNtam) thinking of <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">sarvESvara<\/a> constantly, will think of the <em>SarIra<\/em> as a disease as mentioned in the saying \u201c<em>SarIram vraNavath paSyEth<\/em>\u201d (let him see the body as a wound) and hence engagement with this body will not be a hurdle to the joy born out of experiencing <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Let us go through the pAsuram and its meanings:<\/p>\n<p><em>Ayndhu koNdu AdhipperumAnai anbinAl<\/em><br \/>\n<em>vAyndha manaththiruththa vallArgaL Eyndha tham<\/em><br \/>\n<em>meykundhamAga virumbavarE thAmum tham<\/em><br \/>\n<em>vaigundham kANbAr viraindhu<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Word for Word Meanings<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Adhi \u2013 one who is the cause for the universe<br \/>\nperumAnai \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">sarvESvara<\/a> (lord of all)<br \/>\nanbinAl \u2013 with affection<br \/>\nAyndhu koNdu \u2013 meditating<br \/>\nvAyndha manaththu \u2013 (their) apt hearts<br \/>\niruththa vallAr thAmum \u2013 those who are capable of establishing<br \/>\ntham vaigundham \u2013 the <em>paramapadham<\/em> which is there for them<br \/>\nviraindhu \u2013 quickly<br \/>\nkANbAr \u2013 desirous of seeing<br \/>\nEyndha \u2013 fitting with the soul<br \/>\ntham mey \u2013 their bodies<br \/>\nkundham Aga \u2013 as disease<br \/>\nvirumbuvar \u2013 will consider<\/p>\n<h3><strong>vyAkyAnam<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Ayndhu koNdu AdhippirAnai anbinAl<\/strong> \u2013 meditating on <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">sarvESvara<\/a>, who is the cause for the universe, with love. Has it not been said in atharvaSikai \u201c<em>kAraNam thu dhEya:<\/em>\u201d (only the entity which created the universe is apt for meditation)?<\/p>\n<p><strong>vAyndha manaththiruththa vallArgaL<\/strong> \u2013 those who are capable of keeping in their hearts, which will not say \u201cNo\u201d when they wish to keep <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> in their hearts<\/p>\n<p><strong>vAyndha manam<\/strong> \u2013 it is the mind which will be ahead of the person himself in attaining emperumAn as mentioned in periya thiruvandhAdhi 1 \u201c<em>mundhuRRa nenjE<\/em>\u201d (Oh heart which is ahead of me!) and in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/09\/thiruvaimozhi-1-7-8-ennai-negizhkkilum\/\">thiruvAimozhi 1-7-8<\/a> \u201c<em>ennai negizhkkilum ennudaiya nannenjam thannai agalvikkath thAnum killAn ini<\/em>\u201d (even if he could separate from me, he is not capable of separating from my heart). It is the heart on which emperumAn falls head over heels, as mentioned in thiruvAimozhi 10-8-6 \u201c<em>iruppEn enRu en nenju niRaiyap pugundhAn<\/em>\u201d (he entered my heart completely saying that he would like to stay there).<\/p>\n<p><strong>AdhipperumAnai vAyndha manaththiruththa vallArgaL<\/strong> \u2013 those who are capable of firmly establishing the causative entity in their hearts as mentioned in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/04\/thiruvaimozhi-2-6-7-mudiyadhadhu-en\/\">thiruvAimozhi 2-6-7<\/a> \u201c<em>muzhuvEzh ulagumuNdAn ugandhu vandhu adiyEnuL pugundhAn agavalvAnumallan ini<\/em>\u201d (the one who swallowed all the worlds, entered my heart desirously and will not separate from it, henceforth).<\/p>\n<p><strong>manaththiruththa vallArgaL<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/thirumazhisai-azhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> emphasises that it is very difficult to keep <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> in the mind which always prevaricates as mentioned in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/githa.koyil.org\/index.php\/6-34\/\">SrI bhagavath gIthA 6-34<\/a> \u201c<em>chanchalam hi mana:<\/em>\u201d (mind always prevaricates) and in periya thirumozhi 1-1-4 \u201c<em>ninRavA nillA nenju<\/em>\u201d (heart which is not steady).<\/p>\n<p><strong>vallArgaL thAmum<\/strong> \u2013 this describes the greatness of those who are capable of achieving this feat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>vallArgaL thAmum<\/strong> \u2013 these people who have the interest in matters relating to emperumAn who is the means (to attain him).<\/p>\n<p><strong>tham vaigundham viraindhu kANbAr<\/strong> \u2013 those who are desirous of reaching soon that paramapadham wherein there will be no hurdle for experiencing <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>tham vaigundham<\/strong> \u2013 that paramapadham which <em><a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">sarvESvara<\/a><\/em>, the eternal prince of SrIvaikuNtam, has created for his followers as mentioned in purusha sUktham \u201c<em>marIchInAm padham<\/em>\u201d and in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/10\/thiruvaimozhi-3-9-9-vay-kondu\/\">thiruvAimozhi 3-9-9<\/a> \u201c<em>vAnavar nAdu<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>viraindhu kANbAr<\/strong> \u2013 instead of patiently waiting, saying \u00a0\u201cwe will attain it when it comes\u201d, being in a hurry to see, just like hurrying to see something which has been lost.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eyndha\u00a0 tham meygundhamAgavE virumbuvar<\/strong> \u2013 because of that desire (to see SrIvaikuNtam) they will consider their physical bodies, fitting with them, as disease only.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eyndha tham mey<\/strong> \u2013 even after getting knowledge, considering their bodies which are united together with souls<\/p>\n<p><strong>kundhamAgavE virumbuvar<\/strong> \u2013 they will consider their bodies as hurdles in attaining<em> SrIvaikuNtam<\/em>.
