In this pAsuram he says that thirumalai is the goal for not only the ordinary samsAris but it is so for the distinguished nithyasUris too.<\/p>\n<p>Let us go through the pAsuram and its meanings:<\/p>\n<p><em>purindhu malarittup puNdarIgappAdham<\/em><br \/>\n<em> parindhu padu kAdu niRpa therindhengum<\/em><br \/>\n<em> thAnOngi niRkinRAn thaNNaruvi vEngadamE<\/em><br \/>\n<em> vAnOrkkum maNNOrkkum vaippu<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Word for Word Meanings<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>puNdaraIgappAdham \u2013 at the divine lotus-like feet<br \/>\npurindhu \u2013 with affection<br \/>\nmalarittu \u2013 offering flowers<br \/>\nparindhu \u2013 praise <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a><br \/>\npadu kAdu niRpa \u2013 prostrating before emperumAn like a tree lies after being felled<br \/>\nengum \u2013 at all places<br \/>\ntherindhu \u2013 being seen<br \/>\nthAn Ongi ninRAn \u2013 emperumAn who has taken residence, with his great auspicious qualities, such emperumAn\u2019s<br \/>\nthaN aruvi vEngadamE &#8211; only thirumalai with cool streams<br \/>\nvAnOrkkum \u2013 for nithyasUris (permanent dwellers of SrIvaikuNtam)<br \/>\nmaNNOrkkum \u2013 for people of this world too<br \/>\nvaippu \u2013 like a treasure<\/p>\n<h3><strong>vyAkyAnam<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>puNdarIgappAdham<\/strong> \u2013 Just as it is mentioned in SrI vishNu suktham \u201c<em>vishNOr padhE paramE madhva uthsa: <\/em>\u201d (streams of honey are dripping from the supremely divine feet of vishNu) and in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/08\/thiruvaimozhi-1-5-8-unday-ulagu\/\">thiruvAimozhi 1-5-8<\/a> \u201c<em>thEnE malarum thiruppAdham<\/em>\u201d (the divine feet from which honey will drip), the divine feet of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> which are very sweet like lotus from which honey is dripping.<\/p>\n<p><strong>purindhu malar ittu<\/strong> \u2013 offering flower etc with lot of affection. Reference to flower is equivalent to inclusion of water, lamp, smoke (incense) etc [which are used in <em>thiruvArAdhanam<\/em>, the daily worship of emperumAn].<\/p>\n<p><strong>parindhu padu kAdu niRpa<\/strong> \u2013 devotees will be worried about the place, saying \u201cit is an area with lot of danger. What will happen?\u201d They will prostrate before <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> there, like trees which have been felled in dense forests.<\/p>\n<p><strong>therindhu engum thAnOngi niRkinRAn<\/strong> \u2013 one who is standing majestically atop the hill, displaying his auspicious qualities such as simplicity etc so that they can be seen by all. Just as it is mentioned in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2017\/02\/thiruvaimozhi-4-5-10-undum-umizhndhum\/\">thiruvAimozhi 4-5-10<\/a> \u201c<em>kaNdavARRAl thanadhE ulagena ninRAn <\/em>\u201d (he stood in such a manner that it was evident to those who saw him that the world is his).<\/p>\n<p><strong>padukAdu niRpath therindhengum thAnOngi niRkinRAn<\/strong> \u2013 amidst the fallen trees, he stands tall like a huge tree which is standing firmly.
