Removal of undesirables and attainment of desirables will happen on their own\u201d<\/p>\n Let us go through the pAsuram and its meanings:<\/p>\n senRu vaNanguminO sENuyar vEngadaththai<\/em> sEN uyar vEngadaththai \u2013 thirumalai which has tall peak (that thirumalai) senRu vaNanguminO sENuyar vEngadaththai<\/strong> \u2013 go and worship thiruvEngadam which is very great in terms of its height and fame.<\/p>\n sENuyar vEngadaththai<\/strong> \u2013 you don\u2019t have to walk a long distance. Just as mentioned in periyAzhwAr thirumozhi 5-4-1 \u201csenniyOngu thaN thiruvEngadam<\/em>\u201d (cool hills of thirumalai whose peaks rise to a great height), even as you leave your town, does not this mountain make itself visible to you, occupying a huge space in the sky, to remove your sins? The word ninRu<\/em> could be added to both vaNanguminO and vinaikedukkum by the madhyamaNi nyAyam<\/em> (a provision in poetical grammar). Thus, we can have<\/p>\n ninRu vaNanguminO<\/strong> \u2013 without hurrying yourself, stand calmly and worship.<\/p>\n ninRu vinai kedukkum nIrmaiyAl<\/strong> \u2013 the word vEngadam<\/em> means \u201cthat which removes sins\u201d. Since the hill has this quality as its identity, it naturally has the quality of removing sins. This implies that one need not cry for removal of undesirables.<\/p>\n What is to be done for getting the desirables? AzhwAr<\/a> says\u00a0 next that the deities who you all think as granting your desires, get their positions by worshipping emperumAn<\/a> at thiruvEngadam….<\/p>\n enRum<\/strong> \u2013 it is not that this happens once in a lifetime.
