This pAsuram says that everything about thirumalai \u2013 the hilly people there, the bamboos, thiruvEngadamudaiyAn who has taken residence \u2013 is desirable for him.<\/p>\n<p>Let us go through the pAsuram and its meanings:<\/p>\n<p><em>mudindha pozhudhil kuRavANar Enam<\/em><br \/>\n<em> padindhuzhusAl paindhinaigaL viththa thadiththezhundha<\/em><br \/>\n<em> vEyngazhaipOy viNthiRakkum vEngadamE mElorunAL<\/em><br \/>\n<em> thInguzhal vAyvaiththAn silambu<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Word by Word Meanings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>mudindha pozhudhil kuRavANar \u2013 the chieftains of hilly people, who are at the throes of death due to old age<br \/>\nEnam padindhu uzhu sAl \u2013 on the lands where wild boars (due to their arrogance) plough deeply (such that bamboos will get uprooted)<br \/>\npai thinigaL viththa \u2013 sowing new seeds [on those lands]<br \/>\nthadindhu \u2013 even after they have been cut<br \/>\nezhundha \u2013 rising aloft (due to the fertility of the soil)<br \/>\nvEyngazhai \u2013 bamboo sticks<br \/>\npOy \u2013 rising up<br \/>\nviN thiRakkum \u2013 reaching to the skies<br \/>\nvEngadam \u2013 thiruvEngadam<br \/>\nmEl oru nAL \u00ad\u2013 at an earlier point of time<br \/>\nthIm kuzhal \u2013 the sweet flute<br \/>\nvAy vaiththAn \u2013 kaNNapirAn (krishNa) who kept [that flute] on his divine lips<br \/>\nsilambu \u2013 his divine hill<\/p>\n<h3><strong>vyAkyanam<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>mudindha pOdhil kuRavANar<\/strong> \u2013 the chieftains among hilly people who have reached their last stage. The old hilly people, of whom others will say \u201che will die now; he will die tomorrow\u201d etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enam padindhu uzhusAl paindhinaigaL viththa<\/strong> \u2013 since the old hilly people cannot plough the land, they will plough the land with the help of wild boars and sow beautiful millet seeds on the lands thus ploughed. Even if they are not capable of ploughing the lands, they cannot remain without carrying out their hereditary work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>thadindhu ezhundha vEyngazhai pOy viN thiRakkum vEngadamE<\/strong> \u2013 while they have sown the seeds the previous day at dawn, they will go to the forest next day dawn to cut the bamboos.
