All your sorrows will disappear.<\/p>\n<p>Let us go through the pAsuram and its meanings:<\/p>\n<p><em>adhu nanRu idhu thIdhenRu aiyappadAdhE<\/em><br \/>\n<em> madhu ninRa thaN thuzhAy mArvan podhu ninRa<\/em><br \/>\n<em> ponnangazhalE thozhumin muzhuvinaigaL<\/em><br \/>\n<em> munnangazhalum mudindhu<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Word by Word Meanings<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>adhu nanRu idhu thIdhu enRu aiyappadAdhE \u2013 instead of having doubts as to whether that is good or this is bad<br \/>\nmadhu ninRa thaN thuzhAy mArvan \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> who has on his divine chest, the cool thuLasi garland full of nectar; such emperumAn\u2019s<br \/>\npodhu ninRa \u2013 common to all (which is attaining his divine feet)<br \/>\npon am kazhalE &#8211; the desirable divine feet<br \/>\nthozumin \u2013 worship<\/p>\n<p>(If you worship like that)<br \/>\nmunnam \u2013 ahead of doing that<br \/>\nmuzhu vinaigal \u2013 all the sins<br \/>\nmudindhu \u2013 losing their strength<br \/>\nkazhalum \u2013 will leave you<\/p>\n<h3><strong>vyAkyanam<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>adhu nanRu idhu thIdhu enRu aiyappadAdhE<\/strong> \u2013 Do not have doubts such as \u201cbeing involved with <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>\u2019s matter is very good; getting involved with worldly matters is very bad\u201d Just as matters other than emperumAn make one to doubt the bad things, they will make one to doubt the good things too. If one were to analyse the good and bad among those things, only doubt will remain at the end [without deciding one way or the other]. In other words, even though the other matters are indeed bad, it would appear that they are good. It would even end with remaining that way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>madhu ninRa thaN thuzhAy mArvan<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> is the only entity about whom there can be no doubt. He remains with the thuLasi garland, full of honey, announcing to the world that he is the leader.<\/p>\n<p><strong>podhu ninRa ponnangazhalE thozhumin<\/strong> \u2013 he has such divine feet that everyone, without any distinction, will worship them. Hasn\u2019t it been said in jithanthE SlOkam 1-2 \u201c<em>dhEvAnAm dhAnavAnAm cha sAmAnyam adhidhaivatham<\/em>\u201d (emperumAn is common to both celestial entities and to demons)! Did not vibhIshaNa say as in SrI rAmAyaNa yudhdha kANdam 17-15 \u201c<em>sarvalOka SaraNyAya rAghavAya<\/em>\u201d (to SrI rAma who is he refuge for the entire world)! Did not visbhIshNa tell the monkey warriors \u201cSrI rAma\u2019s nature is such that even rAvaNa, the reason for which you people are not accepting me, could come and surrender to him!\u201d? In the same way, did not SrI rAma, when he told sugrIva to bring vibhIshaNa to him, tell him \u201c<em>Anayainam &#8230;.. yadhi vA rAvaNam svayam<\/em>\u201d (even if he is rAvaNa, bring him)! Thus <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/peyazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> says, try and worship the divine feet which have a common connection with everyone and which are beautiful.<\/p>\n<p><strong>muzhu vinagaL munnam kazhalum mudindhu<\/strong> \u2013 the sins, which are the hurdle for worshipping <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> and which have been accumulated from time immemorial, would disappear even before you think of worshipping him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>munnam kazhalum<\/strong> \u2013 even before worshipping.
