Didn\u2019t <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> kill hiraNya kashyap such that no harm came in the way of prahlAdha! If the text is <em>angaRkidar thIra<\/em> we can construe the meaning as \u2013 ensuring that the harm which came prahlAdha\u2019s way was removed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>andhippozhudhaththu<\/strong> \u2013 in the evening time when the strength of dhEvas (celestial entities) diminishes and that of demons flourishes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>manga iraNiyadhu Agaththai<\/strong> \u2013 at a time when the strength of iraNiyan flourishes, he destroyed iraNiyan\u2019s body.<\/p>\n<p><strong>iraNiyadhu Agam<\/strong> \u2013 wasn\u2019t iraNiyan\u2019s body strengthened by all the boons that he had been granted [by other dhEvathAs]! <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> ensured that such a heart was destroyed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>pongi<\/strong> \u2013 rising furiously, as mentioned in narasimha manthram \u201c<em>mahAvishNum<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>ari uruvamAy<\/strong> \u2013 having the fiery form of narasimha, as mentioned in narasimha manthram \u201c<em>jvalantham<\/em>\u201d (radiant).<\/p>\n<p><strong>piLandha ammAn<\/strong> \u2013 the supreme being who tore it! <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\">thirumangai AzhwAr<\/a> has also mercifully mentioned in his periya thirumozhi 2.5.8 \u201c<em>piRai eyiRRanRadalariyAyp peruginAnai<\/em>\u201d (one who grew in the form of narasimha with teeth like crescent of moon).<\/p>\n<p><strong>avanE kari uruvam kombu osiththAn<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/peyazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> mentions about how <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> removed the hurdles of all favourable people, apart from removing the hurdles of one prahlAdha. During his incarnation as krishNa, emperumAn went furiously at the elephant kuvalayApIdam which was set off by kamsa on him and broke its tusks. It is implied here that by protecting himself from the elephant, he removed the troubles of all those who were very affectionate towards him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>kAyndhu<\/strong> \u2013 was it not emperumAn who does not become furious, made himself furious!
