Where did we see such a characteristic? He says he showed his anger, which he did not show on people such as bhIshma et al, on a worm in the water [reference here is to a crocodile] for the sake of an elephant and manifested his partiality towards his followers.<\/p>\n<p>Let us go through the pAsuram and its meanings:<\/p>\n<p><em>sUzhndha thuzhAyalangal sOdhi maNi mudi mAl<\/em><br \/>\n<em> thAzhndha aruvith thadavarai vAy Azhndha<\/em><br \/>\n<em> maNi nIrchchunai vaLarndha mAmudhalai konRAn<\/em><br \/>\n<em> aNi neelA vaNNaththavan<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Word by Word Meanings<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>sUzhndha \u2013 decorating all over his divine form<br \/>\nthuzhAy alangal \u2013 garland of fragrant thuLasi<br \/>\nsOdhi \u2013 radiant<br \/>\nmaNi mudi \u2013 crown with gems<br \/>\naNi neela vaNNaththavan \u2013 one who has the complexion of beautiful blue colour<br \/>\nmAl \u2013 sarvESvaran (supreme entity)<br \/>\nthAzhndha aruvi thadavarai vAy \u2013 in the middle of a huge mountain which has many streams flowing towards earth<br \/>\nAzhndha maNi nIr sunai \u2013 in the reservoir which is deep and having clear water<br \/>\nvaLarndha \u2013 growing (without any fear)<br \/>\nmA mudhalai \u2013 a huge crocodile<br \/>\nkonRAn \u2013 he killed<\/p>\n<h3><strong>vyAkyanam<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>sUzhndha thuzhAy alangal sOdhi maNi mudi mAl<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> who has thuLasi garlands and crown which indicate that he is the lord of all the worlds<\/p>\n<p><strong>sUzhndha thuzhAy alangal<\/strong> \u2013 thuLasi garland which symbolises his primacy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>sOdhi maNi mudi<\/strong> \u2013 crown with resplendent gems<\/p>\n<p><strong>thAzhndha aruvith thadavarai vAy<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0 on the slopes of the mountain having many streams which flow towards the earth<\/p>\n<p><strong>Azhndha maNi nIrchchunai vaLarndha<\/strong> \u2013 growing in the waters of the reservoir having deep and clear water<\/p>\n<p><strong>mA mudhalai konRAn<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> killed a huge crocodile, not considering it just as a worm in the water. Did he not let go of the divine disc on the crocodile, which he had not done even when he was angry with people such as bhIshma et al! The affection that he has towards his followers is the reason for such an act.<\/p>\n<p><strong>aNi leela vaNNaththavan<\/strong> \u2013 he got the colour on his divine form only after killing his follower\u2019s enemy.
