He talks about how he exists without knowing anything other than emperumAn.<\/p>\n<p>Let us go through the pAsuram and its meanings:<\/p>\n<p><em>ennenjamEyAn en senniyAn dhAnavanai<\/em><br \/>\n<em> vannenjam kINda maNivaNNan munnam sEy<\/em><br \/>\n<em> UzhiyAn Uzhi peyarththAn ulagEththum<\/em><br \/>\n<em> AzhiyAn aththiyUrAn<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Word by Word Meanimg<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>dhAnavanai \u2013 the demon (iraNiyan)<br \/>\nval nenjam \u2013 strong chest<br \/>\nkINda \u2013 one who tore<br \/>\nmaNivaNNan \u2013 one who has the complexion of a blue coloured gem stone<br \/>\nmunnam sEy UzhiyAn \u2013 he was everything in the earlier period of creation<br \/>\nUzhi peyarththAn \u2013 one who destroyed everything during the time of deluge<br \/>\nulagu Eththum AzhiyAn \u2013 one who is worshipped by the people of the world and who reclines in thiruppARkadal (milky ocean)<br \/>\naththiyUrAn \u2013 one who is residing in thiruvaththiyUr<br \/>\nen nenjam mEyAn \u2013 he stood firmly in my heart<br \/>\nen senniyAn \u2013 he took residence in my head<\/p>\n<h3><strong>vyAkyAnam<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>en nenjam mEyAn en senniyAn<\/strong> \u2013 once <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/bhuthaththazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a>\u2019s heart liked <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>, emperumAn made himself present in all the parts of AzhwAr\u2019s body. Even as AzhwAr kept one part of his body with emperumAn, he entered all the parts of AzhwAr\u2019s body.<\/p>\n<p><strong>en nenjamEyAn en senniyAn<\/strong> \u2013 he is inside my heart. <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">nammAzhwAr<\/a> too has mercifully mentioned in thiruvAimozhi 10-6-6 \u201c<em>thalaimEla thALiNaigaL thAmaraikkaN ennammAn nilaipErAn ennenjaththu eppozhudhum<\/em>\u201d (my Lord, <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>, with lotus eyes, will never leave my heart once he keeps his divine feet on my head).<\/p>\n<p><strong>dhAnavanai vannenjam kINda<\/strong> \u2013 he tore the strong heart of iraNiyan who proclaimed himself as God.<\/p>\n<p><strong>van nenjam<\/strong> \u2013 iraNiyan had a heart which had no compassion either towards <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> or his followers. He had a heart which will not hesitate to carry out a disrespectful deed towards emperumAn or his followers. Even when he saw the fearful form of narasimha, his heart did not soften. One can even assume that it was so hard that even chakrAyudham (emperumAn\u2019s divine disc) could not crack it open.<\/p>\n<p><strong>maNivaNNan<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> has a form which removes fatigue, with the happiness that with\u00a0 iraNiyan destroyed, the enemy of prahlAdha had been destroyed. This implies that emperumAn\u2019s form is like a blue coloured gem, being very soft and great.<\/p>\n<p><strong>munnam sEy UzhiyAn<\/strong> \u2013 Just as it is mentioned in chAndhOgya upanishath \u201c<em>sadhEva sOmya idham agra AsIth<\/em>\u201d (Oh child, this existed even before creation), <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> had both chith and achith (sentient and insentient entities) in subtle form, as his body, even before creation, when the world had been destroyed and they were waiting for their time. We can also construe this as emperumAn who was present even at the time of deluge, preparing for creation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Uzhi peyarththAn<\/strong> \u2013 He destroyed them [the worlds]. He destroyed them since he did not get the benefit out of creating them. As the time approaches, it is he who destroys too.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Uzhi<\/strong> <strong>peyarththAn<\/strong> \u2013 it can also be taken that it was <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> who created everything indicated by time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ulagEththum AzhiyAn<\/strong> \u2013 he reclines in thiruppARkadal (milky ocean) in the form of anirudhdha, to be worshipped by everyone.
