SrI rangarAja sthavam 1-9 says \u201c<em>lakshmIpadhalAkshaika lakshaNam<\/em>\u201d (emperumAn has the footmarks of pirAtti\u2019s divine feet as his identification). Only he, who has the marks of pirAtti\u2019s decorative designs on her divine feet, is the supreme lord. This identification is not coming out of his deeds such as creating the world etc. <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/thirumazhisai-azhwar\/\">thirumazhisai AzhwAr<\/a> has mercifully mentioned in his nAnmugan thiruvandhAdhi 53 \u201c<em>thiruvillAth thEvarai thERElmin thEvu<\/em>\u201d (don\u2019t consider as Lord, one, who is not associated with pirAtti). At the beginning of gIthA bAshyam [a commentary on <a href=\"http:\/\/githa.koyil.org\">SrI bhagavath gIthA<\/a> by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/emperumanar\/\">swAmy rAmAnujar<\/a>] it is said \u201c<em>Sriya: pathi nikhilahEyaprathyanIka kalyANaikathAna:<\/em>\u201d (one who is the consort of pirAtti, being the opposite of all faults and having all the auspicious qualities). Even before saying that he has auspicious qualities, since it is mentioned that he is the consort of SrI mahAlakshmi, this becomes his unique identification.<\/p>\n<p><strong>nA vAzhththum karumam<\/strong> \u2013 in the activity of praising with tongue<\/p>\n<p><strong>kadaippidimin kaNdIr<\/strong> \u2013 instead of thinking \u201cI am saying something\u201d, keep this in your heart firmly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>kadaippidimin kaNdIr<\/strong> \u2013 be fully focussed on this.<\/p>\n<p>For people like us, without any qualification, is it possible to praise like this?<\/p>\n<p><strong>urimaiyAl EththinOm<\/strong> \u2013 did I praise him in some other method? Did I not worship him because he is my Lord! Hence, for you people also, there is no shortcoming in praising his divine feet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>endhai pEr nAm urimaiyAl EththinOm<\/strong> \u2013 we praised his divine names because we are his followers. We, who know our relationship with him, praised him without trespassing that. We attained him with the blessings of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sri-mahalakshmi\/\">pirAtti<\/a>, just like lakshmaNa and vibhIshaNa attained him. We did not try to attain him directly, just like sUrpaNakA did, by breaking the method.<\/p>\n<p><strong>irum thadakkai endhai pEr<\/strong> \u2013 we praised the divine feet of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> who has two huge, well grown shoulders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>nAl dhisaiyum kEttIrE<\/strong> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/bhuthaththazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> is asking whether the people in the directions listened to the meaning of this. By joining with the previous two words, making them as <em>endhai pEr nAl dhisaiyum kEttIrE<\/em> one can construe the meaning as \u201caren\u2019t these emperumAn\u2019s divine names!
