In this pAsuram his bias towards his followers is mentioned.<\/p>\n<p>Let us go through the pAsuram and its meanings:<\/p>\n<p><em>senRadhu ilangai mEl sevvE than sIRRaththAl<\/em><br \/>\n<em> konRadhu irAvaNananik kURungAl ninRadhuvum<\/em><br \/>\n<em> vEyOngu thaN sAral vEngadamE viNNavar tham<\/em><br \/>\n<em> vAyOngu thol pugazhAn vandhu<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Word by Word Meaning<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>viNNavar tham vAy \u2013 apt to be praised by the mouth of nithyasUris (permanent dwellers of SrIvaikuNtam)<br \/>\nOngu thol pugazhAn \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> with great, long established qualities<br \/>\nsevvE \u2013 directly<br \/>\nsenRadhu \u2013 went with a rage<br \/>\nilangai mEl \u2013 on lankA<br \/>\nthan sIRRaththAl \u2013 with his anger<br \/>\nkonRadhu \u2013 destroyed<br \/>\nirAvaNanai \u2013 it was rAvaNa<br \/>\nkURungAl \u2013 when mentioned<br \/>\nvandhu ninRadhuvum \u2013 the place where he stood (so that all <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">chEthanas<\/a> (sentient entities) would get uplifted at all times)<br \/>\nvEy Ongu thaN sAral vEngadamE \u2013 at thiruvEngadamalai with cool, mountainous sides and tall bamboo shoots.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>vyAkyAnam<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>senRadhu ilangai mEl<\/strong> \u2013 this says that unlike rAvaNa who sent [his uncle] mArIcha as a deceptive deer and made rAma to travel a long distance behind it in order to capture sIthAppirAtti in a cunning way, [SrIrAma] in keeping with his valour, went directly to lankA, waged a war and destroyed rAvaNa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>senRadhu ialangai mEl sevvE<\/strong> \u2013 instead of through his sankalpam (vow), he went directly to lankA walking with his divine feet. As mentioned in SrI rAmAyaNam yudhdha kANdam 1-29 \u201c<em>abhiyAthA<\/em>\u201d (one who fights in the forefront), SrI rAma went in the forefront of his army and fought.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ilangai mEl<\/strong> \u2013 he invaded fearlessly on lankA, a place which entities such as indhra et al would be scared even to mention by name.<\/p>\n<p><strong>than sIRRaththAl konRadhu irAvaNanai<\/strong> \u2013 with his anger, he destroyed the heads of rAvana, who, as mentioned in SrI rAmAyaNam yudhdha kANdam \u201c<em>praharthA cha<\/em>\u201d (one who attacks) was protected by various boons.<\/p>\n<p><strong>than sIRRaththAl<\/strong> \u2013 one who has anger under his control. He sought anger and destroyed rAvaNa. He could carry out tasks with his sankalpam (vow) only if he were with the nature of <em>paramporuL<\/em> (supreme entity). In rAmAvathAram (incarnation as SrI rAma), since he had truly assumed the characteristics of a human being, he destroyed rAvaNa with his anger alone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>kURungAl <\/strong>\u2013 if one were to mention the characteristics of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>\u2019s<\/p>\n<p><strong>ninRadhuvum vEy Ongu thaN sAral vEngadmE<\/strong> \u2013 in order to help those who had missed out during his various ages of incarnation so that they do not lose out, the place where he came down to is thirumalai (thiruvEngadam) with its cool, hilly sides which remove the tiredness of those who climb the hills, and with well grown tall bamboo shoots.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ninRadhuvum vEngadamE<\/strong> \u2013 He has come to thirumalai so that he can remove the enemies of his followers who had come after the times of his incarnations. Just as he redeemed sIthAppirAtti who was captured by rAvaNa, he is remaining at thirumalali in order to redeem the AthmAs (souls) which have been stolen by <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">chEthanas<\/a> who claimed them as their own.<\/p>\n<p><strong>viNNavar tham thol pugazhAn <\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; this mentions the place that he had dwelled in, before coming to thirumalai. He is one who has natural greatness, and is praised by the nithyasUris in SrIvaikuNtam. We can also construe this as one who has long established qualities, praised by nithyasUris.
