Just as emperumAn will not stop from protecting the worlds, <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/poigai-azhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a>\u2019s senses will also not stop from praising emperumAn. Redeeming his senses from emperumAn is as difficult as making someone to get involved with emperumAn.<\/p>\n<h3>pAsuram<\/h3>\n<p><em>vAy avanai alladhu vAzhththAdhu kai ulagam<\/em><br \/>\n<em> thAyavanai alladhu thAm thozhA pEy mulai nanju<\/em><br \/>\n<em> UNAga uNdAn uruvodu pEr allAl<\/em><br \/>\n<em> kANA kaN kELa sevi<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Word by Word Meanings<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>vAy \u2013 (my) mouth<br \/>\navanai alladhu \u2013 other than <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a><br \/>\nvAzhththAdhu \u2013 will not praise<br \/>\nkai thAm \u2013 the hands themselves<br \/>\nulagam thAyavanai alladhu \u2013 other than thrivikraman who measured all the worlds by growing<br \/>\nthozhA \u2013 will not worship (anyone else)<br \/>\npEy mulai nanju \u2013 the poison which was applied to pUthanA\u2019s bosom<br \/>\nUNAga uNdAn \u2013 one who drank the milk as his food (to sustain himself)<br \/>\nuruvodu pErallAl \u2013 other than his divine form and his divine names<br \/>\nkaN kANA, sevi kELA \u2013 eyes will not see; ears will not listen to.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>vyAkhyAnam<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>vAy avanai alladhu vAzhththAdhu<\/strong> \u2013 my mouth will not praise anyone other than <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>. Even if it is asked to praise others like the people of the world do, it would not do so.<\/p>\n<p>k<strong>ai ulagam thAyavanai alladhu thAm thozhA \u2013 <\/strong>my hands will not worship anyone other than the entity who kept his divine feet on the heads of all the people in the world when he went about the task of measuring the worlds. He did this even when nobody asked him to keep his divine feet on their heads. Even when I prevent my hands from worshipping, they will worship him automatically, after seeing the simplicity of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>. His divine feet are such that they will make the hands of those who do not worship him, to worship him!<\/p>\n<p><strong>pEy mulai nanju UNAga uNdAn<\/strong> \u2013 the term pEy refers to pUthanA, the demon friend of kamsa. She came as if she could not live without giving him her milk. He [krishNa] also drank that milk as if he could not live if he had not consumed that milk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>uruvodu pErallAl kANA kaN kELA sevi<\/strong> \u2013 my eyes will not see any form other than <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>\u2019s; my ears will not listen to anyone\u2019s name other than emperumAn\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/poigai-azhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> thus describes how all his sensory organs had got engaged with <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>.
