previous (<em>thavam tharum<\/em>)<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Introduction (given by <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/mamunigal\/\"><strong>maNavALa mAmunigaL<\/strong><\/a><strong>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the previous pAsuram \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\">amudhanAr<\/a> said that <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> would create all that is needed for them to get saved, and will save those who surrendered to him;<\/p>\n<p>after thinking about intellect, ability, etc., of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> of such ways, unlike the ways of worldly people, his being different and not having any scent of effects of material world, being incarnated in this world for helping others \u2013 thinking so <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\">amudhanAr<\/a> divines that in this pAsuram.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Introduction (given by <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/04\/08\/pillai-lokam-jiyar\/\"><strong>piLLailOkam jIyar<\/strong><\/a><strong>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Even though <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> would divine to those who surrendered to him about the distinguished means that helps in getting saved, and growth from it being the wealth of love towards <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> , and liberation from sins that are hindrances to getting the destiny, and the ultimate destiny of it which is paramapadham, I would not like and enjoy any (such) thing other than his divine qualities \u2013 divined <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\">amudhanAr<\/a> in the previous pAsuram.<\/p>\n<p>In this pAsuram, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\">amudhanAr<\/a> divines &#8211; since <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> is being such that even <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">sarvESvaran<\/a> who as <em>antharyAmi <\/em>for all the <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmAs<\/a> provides for good and bad (<em>pravruththi, nivruththi<\/em>), is not the most loving of the devotees compared to him; and, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>, in the matters of intellect, freedom of worldly desires (<em>vairAgyam<\/em>), etc., is completely different compared to worldly people; <em>\u00a0<\/em>to give the most distinguished destiny to everyone, one who is not associated to even the scent of worldly existence, incarnated from that paramapadham as <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>, for helping others; nArAyaNavalli<em>\u2019<\/em> (seated on Adhi SEsha in SrIvaikuNtam)),<br \/>\n<em>vaLarththanan \u2013 <\/em>and he conducted the growth of<br \/>\n<em>maRai nAlum \u2013 rig, <\/em>etc., the four vEdhas,<br \/>\nSAsthram, for saving of everyone.<br \/>\nOh! how wonderfully he conducts it! \u2013 is the thought.<\/p>\n<p><em>uRRanavE seydhu \u00ad<\/em>is \u2013 doing apt deeds;<br \/>\n<em>parivu -&gt; snEham <\/em>\u2013 love. Also <em>pakshapAtham \u2013<\/em> favoritism towards His devotees.<\/p>\n<p>Meaning would match even when some recite as \u2018<em>p<\/em><strong><em><u>u<\/u><\/em><\/strong><em>lluyirukku\u2019 <\/em>(for the low level <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmAs<\/a> (compared to Him))<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>vyAkyAnam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>uL ninRu <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u2013<\/em><\/strong> As said in \u2018<em>antha:pravishtaS SAsthA janAnAm sarvAthmA\u2019<\/em> (entered all the <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmAs<\/a> and controls them),<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>antha:pravishtam karthAramEtham\u2019<\/em> (He entered and performs the acts),<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>antharbahiScha thathsarvam vyApya nArAyANa sthitha:\u2019<\/em> (being present everywhere inside (as antharyAmi (to direct everything), and outside (as who supports everything)),<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>ya <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmA<\/a> nithishttan <\/em><em>\u2013 ya <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmA<\/a> nam antharOyamayathi\u2019<\/em> (The one who is inside <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmA<\/a> and controls it), and,<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>sarvasya chAham hruthi sannivishta:<\/em> [<a href=\"http:\/\/githa.koyil.org\/\">SrI bhagavath gIthA<\/a>]<em>\u2019<\/em> (I am inside everyone\u2019s mind)<em>, <\/em>and,<\/p>\n<p><em>\u2018udal misai uyir enak karandhengum parandhuLan<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/04\/thiruvaimozhi-1-1-7-thidavisumbu-erivali\/\">thiruvAimozhi \u2013 1.1.7<\/a>]\u2019 (Like <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmA<\/a> is having effect on whole body, He is hidden and spread everywhere inside and outside), and,<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>parandha thAN paravaiyuL neer thoRum parandhuLan<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/04\/thiruvaimozhi-1-1-10-parantha-than-paravai\/\">thiruvAimozhi \u2013 1.1.10<\/a>]\u2019 (Inside the ocean that is spread everywhere, in every atom of water He is present comfortably (without want of more area) similar to how He is present comfortably everywhere else outside),<\/p>\n<p>being <em>antharyAmi <\/em>(being inside <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmA<\/a> ) for existence and livelihood (for goodness) (of <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmAs<\/a>),<\/p>\n<p>as said in \u2018<em>anAdhi mAyayA supthOyathA<\/em>\u2019 (being covered by ignorance since time immemorial) sentient are in darkness that is ignorance as being bound with non-sentient from time eternal and having nil knowledge on truth, good means, and true destiny; in order to educate the sentient about such matters, if <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> comes in front of the sentient for them to see,<\/p>\n<p>due to <em>gyanaika AkAram <\/em>(due to knowing that they also have gyAnam (intellect) (though subdued)), they would say &#8211; I am equal to you (due to having gyAnam (intellect), unlike <em>achith<\/em>), and will command Him to move aside; fearing so, He went inside (their <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmAs<\/a>) without their knowledge, and is taking care of their existence, etc., like \u2018<em>irA matam UttuvAr\u2019<\/em> (like how a mother would secretly send out food for her angry son sitting inside a mutt at the end of street, and stand hiding to see him eating).<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>uyirkatku uRRanavE seydhu \u2013<\/em><\/strong> For each of His different living beings, as said in \u2018<em>avar avar vidhi vazhi adaiya ninRanar<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/03\/thiruvaimozhi-1-1-5-avaravar-thamathamathu\/\">thiruvAimozhi \u2013 1.1.5<\/a>]\u2019 (He is situated as the antharAthmA such that each adhikAri\/dhEvathA attain the goal per karmA\/fate), based on the each of their <em>karmas<\/em>, giving them gains and losses (<em>pravruththi nivruththi<\/em>);<\/p>\n<p>Or, like getting water to a higher plane, He by his kindness lets sentient go through sequence of steps so as to encourage them to follow good paths as per true nature of <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmAs<\/a>, in each appropriate ways; doing matching\/appropriate cultivation to see whether these <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmAs<\/a> would in some way be saved;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>uRRanavE seydhu<\/em><\/strong><em> \u00ad<\/em>&#8211; is \u2013 doing apt deeds;<\/p>\n<p>He said too, \u2018<em>bhavanthi bhAvAbhUthAnAm maththa Eva pruthakvithA: <\/em>[<a href=\"http:\/\/githa.koyil.org\/\">SrI bhagavath gIthA<\/a>]<em>\u2019<\/em> (from different worlds different people with different intellect that I give them, they come and reach me).<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>avarkku uyavE paNNum paranum <\/em><\/strong><em>\u2013 <\/em>(<em>paran<\/em> -&gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">sarvESvaran<\/a> (emperumAn); As said in \u2018<em>thripArdhUrdhva udhaithpurusha:\u2019<\/em> (emperumAn is above SrIvaikuNtam), and, \u2018<em>thamasa:parasthAth\u2019<\/em> (He is above <em>thamas<\/em> that is<em> mUla prakruthi (primordial matter)<\/em>), even <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">sarvESvaran<\/a> who elevates <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmAs<\/a> to give them the most distinguished destiny,<\/p>\n<p>as said in \u2018<em>pathim viSvasya<\/em>\u2019 (the lord of the entire creation), \u2018<em>yasmAth param nAparamasthi kinchith\u2019<\/em>, \u2018<em>athaya thatha:para:\u2019 <\/em>(One who does not have any one superior to Him), for the three types of sentient- (<em>bhakthar, mukthar, nithyar<\/em>), and for the three types of non-sentient (<em>sudhdhasathvam, michraththavam, thaththva sUnyam <\/em>(Time)), <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> handles the three \u2013 true nature (<em>svarUpam),<\/em> being (<em>sthithi),<\/em> and action\/growth (<em>pravruththi<\/em>),<\/p>\n<p>even such <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">sarvESvaran<\/a> &#8211;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>parivu ilanAmpadi <\/em><\/strong>\u2013 In the ways of saving the sentient, it could be said that He is not having that much love compared to <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>;\u00a0 <em>parivu \u2013 <\/em>love; positive bias;\u00a0 <em>ilan \u2013 <\/em>He not having it.<\/p>\n<p>As said in \u2018<em>dhurlabham ya upAsathE\u2019<\/em> (looking for hard to reach <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> to meditate upon), \u2018<em>kshipAmi<\/em> [<a href=\"http:\/\/githa.koyil.org\/\">SrI bhagavath gIthA<\/a> \u2013 16.19]\u2019 ((I will) push them (into <em>asura<\/em> births)), \u2018<em>na kShamAmi <\/em>[varAha purANam]<em>\u2019<\/em> (would not tolerate (those who insult my devotees)), and,<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>sidhdhirbhavathivA nEthi samSaya: achyutha sEvinAm\u2019<\/em> (those surrendered to achyuthan\u2019s (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a>\u2019s) divine feet would always have uncertainty whether they would get liberated),<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">sarvESvaran<\/a> is hard to reach, being common for both grace and punishment, and is having to be doubted whether we would get the benefit or not;<\/p>\n<p>(but)<\/p>\n<p>As said in \u2018<em>sulabham svagurum\u2019<\/em> (the easily accessible AchAryan of own), and, \u2018<em>na samSayasthu thadhbhaktha paricharyArathAthmanAm\u2019 <\/em>(He who is involved in kainkaryam to guru would not have any doubts (about getting the true goal)),<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> (AchAryan) is easy to reach, full of grace, and can give the benefit\/destiny without any doubt,<\/p>\n<p>and so, when looking at the two, it appears clearly that he is better than Him in having love towards the sentient.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>viNNin thalai ninRu \u2013<\/em><\/strong> As said in \u2018<em>nAgasya prushtE<\/em> [thaiththirIya upanishath &#8211; nArAyaNavalli<em>\u2019<\/em> (seated on Adhi SEshan in SrIvaikuNtam), from SrIvaikuNtam which is supreme than heaven, etc., and which is said by the word <em>parama AkASam (spiritual sky),<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>palluyirkkum veedu aLippAn \u2013<\/em><\/strong> As said in \u2018<em>SrI vishNulOka maNimaNdapa mArggadhAyi rAmAnujO vijayathE yathirAja rAja:\u2019<\/em> (~<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> the kind of yathis gifted us the path to SrIvaikuNtam), for giving all the <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmAs<\/a> the most distinguished destiny that is <em>mOksham <\/em>(SrIvaikuNtam)<em>, <\/em>which is <em>\u2018anthamil pEr inbam<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> \u2013 10.9.11]\u2019 (~of endless most superior level of enjoyment);<\/p>\n<p>When some recite as<strong> \u2018<em>p<u>u<\/u>lluyirkku\u2019<\/em> <\/strong>\u2013 it is \u2013 insignificant\/lowly.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>em irAmAnusan <\/em><\/strong><em>\u2013 <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> who is our lord;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>maNNin thalaththu udhiththu <\/em><\/strong><em>\u2013 <\/em>As said in \u2018<em>prakruthim svAmadhishtAya sambhavAmi<\/em><em>\u2019<\/em> (I incarnate taking a body matching my glory), even though his incarnation is on the earth, you see, he incarnated without affected by any of its blemishes, and as <em>ajahath svasvabhAvar<\/em> (without reducing any of his glory);<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>maNNin thalaththu udhiththu \u2013<\/em><\/strong> incarnated in this world that is \u2018<em>iruL tharumA gyAlam<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> \u2013 10.6.1]\u2019 (world that instigates ignorance), without getting affected by any of its blemishes;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>maRai nAlum vaLarththananE <\/em><\/strong><em>\u2013<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> spread the vEdhas which are said as \u2018<em>richOyaju(g)mshi sAmAni thathaiva atharvaNAnicha\u2019<\/em> (rig, yajur, sAma and atharvaNa), that is, vEdhas that are of four categories such as <em>rig<\/em>, etc., and conducted its growth;<\/p>\n<p>While conducting lecture for the grantham of SrIbAshyam with divine sentences like \u2018<em>chiranthana sarasvathee cheekura bandhu sairandhrikA <\/em>[yathirAja sapthathi]<em>\u2019<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>\u2019s divine words is the one which sets right the hair of mother vEdham that is scattered about by words of other philosophies), he conducted the growth\/spread of vEdhas also in parallel without any hindrance;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/ramanuja-showing-paramapadham.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14410\" src=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/ramanuja-showing-paramapadham.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"626\" height=\"801\" srcset=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/ramanuja-showing-paramapadham.jpg 626w, https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/ramanuja-showing-paramapadham-234x300.jpg 234w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 626px) 100vw, 626px\" \/><\/a><em>SrI bhAshyam\u00a0 &#8211; showing paramapdham to those who surrendered to<\/em><\/p>\n<p>By this, it says he is \u2018<em>SrI vEdha mArgga prathishtApanAchArya ubhaya vEdhAnthAchAryar\u2019 <\/em>\u00a0(one who established true path of vEdhas, and AchAryan of both samskrutha and thamizh vEdhas).<\/p>\n<p><strong>From AzhwAr thirunagari SrI u.vE. vidhwAn thirumalai nallAn chakravarththi rAmakrishNa iyengAr\u2019s \u2018<\/strong><em><strong>amudha virundhu<\/strong><\/em><strong>\u2019 :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>uL ninRu &#8230; \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>He has entered into <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmA<\/a> to make <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmA<\/a> be referred to as something of significance; this is what we call as <em>antharyAmithvam.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>parivilanAmpadi \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>even though <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> stays inside the <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmA<\/a> inside the body that is disgusting to approach, He still does that out of love, and struggles in so many ways to slowly get each <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmA<\/a> to go in correct ways and reach Him;<\/p>\n<p>even such great love of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> pales in comparison to that of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>, says <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\">amudhanAr<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He explains such <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>\u2019s love, starting with <em>\u2018<strong>palluyirkkum\u2019.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>palluyirkkum &#8230; vaLarththanan \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>Whereas <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> hides as antharyAmi and tries to do good for <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmAs<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> came directly from SrIvaikuNtam ignoring its comforts, for helping the <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmAs<\/a> here.\u00a0 Since <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> is present everywhere he cannot\u00a0 \u2018come\u2019 to a place;\u00a0 but <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> came here just for us to save us; this shows the greatness of love of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Whereas He is afraid that people would command Him to step aside if He comes directly in front of them, and so He has hidden himself as antharyAmi; whereas <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> is not scared of the independent-minded sentient, and comes directly in front of them to save them. <strong>When love is strong, there would not be fear, isn\u2019t it?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>paran\u2019<\/em> also means <em>anniyan <\/em>(alien). Since <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> is not alien, but has come as similar to us, he comes and stands in front of us without any fear.\u00a0 Enjoy this thought by looking at the words from the pAsuram that show this comparison as \u2018<em>paran\u2019 <\/em>versus \u00a0\u2018<em>em<\/em>\u2019 <em>irAmAnusan\u00a0 <\/em>(\u2018alien\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> versus \u2018our\u2019 <em><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a><\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>See the difference between the saving by Him who is antharyAmi (hidden inside), and the saving by <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> who came from SrIvaikuNtam and directly stood in front of us!<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>uy maRai nAlum vaLarththanan \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>it is not possible for antharyAmi to spread vEdhas at all; but <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> came and spread vEdhas to everyone because of which people could learn and become amicable to be saved;<\/p>\n<p>Now, even though <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> cannot spread vEdhas as antharyAmi, can He not do that by His incarnations? Even that did not happen \u2013 He incarnated as swan and <em>gave<\/em> vEdhas, but did not <em>spread<\/em> it;<\/p>\n<p>Okay, did He not grow vEdhas by incarnating as kaNNAn and giving <a href=\"http:\/\/githa.koyil.org\/\">SrI bhagavath gIthA<\/a>? Even here, it is a No. Like how the meanings of the four vEdhas is not easy for everyone to understand, the meanings of gIthA is also not easy to understand; even though He thought He should give gIthA as the essence of upanishaths, that did not materialize; His wish to do this may be there, but to implement it requires some talent isn\u2019t it? That talent is there with <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> only.\u00a0 That is why <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> had to incarnate and make gIthA be understood, by giving us \u2018gIthA bhAshyam\u2019 to spread its meanings;\u00a0 vEdhAntha dhEsikan talks about gIthA bAshyam of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> as \u2018<em>paramaNithi parishkAra vruththAsyamEtham<\/em> [sankalpa sUryOdhayam \u2013 2.22]\u2019 ((gIthA bhAshyam) includes the act of beautifying\/making clear the words of paran (kaNNan), that is bhagavath gIthA).<\/p>\n<p>In this way, he incarnated in much better way than the almighty <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> and spread the knowledge of vEdhAntham and saved the <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">AthmAs<\/a>.
