I am the one who lets the world vane and grow);\u00a0 it is said too as \u2018<em>avidhyA tharu\u2019<\/em> (tree that is ignorance of true knowledge).<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>vinaiyaik kitti<\/em> <\/strong>\u00a0is <em>vinaiy<u><strong>En<\/strong>aik<\/u> kitti<\/em> -&gt; getting to me who is of such karmas;<\/p>\n<p>He is saying \u2013 you see, instead of getting someone to do the work, he by himself came and got me.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>kizhangodu \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>up to the root that is the scent of karmas which can trigger the growth of such karmas<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>than aruL ennum \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>Unlike the grace of one who said <em>\u2018sidhdhir bhavathi vA nEthi samsayOchyutha sEvinAm\u2019<\/em> (Even for those who serve <em>achyuthan<\/em> (name implies one who does not let down His devotees), it is doubtful whether they achieve him or not), grace of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> who is said as \u2018<em>nasamsayasthu thadh bhaktha paricharya rathAthmanAm\u2019<\/em> (~for the devotees of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a>\u2019s devotees there is no doubt about attaining <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a>)<em>,<\/em><em>;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>oL vAL uruvi \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>pulled out the beautiful sword weapon from its holder that is his volition; <em>oL -&gt; beauty; \u00a0oL vAL -&gt;<\/em> sword having brightness; sword that is sharp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>vettik kaLaindha \u2013\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>cut it and threw away; like how one would wonder whether there was even a plant in that place earlier if a plant is cut and its root is removed, he removed my karmas along with their root (scent), that one would wonder whether <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\">amudhanAr<\/a> even had such karmas earlier; <\/em><\/strong>\u00a0having truthful <em>thapas.<\/em> Having <em>thapas <\/em>in the form of true nature of AthmA, that is SaraNAgathi (<em>pArathanthriyam<\/em>); as said in \u2018<em>thasmAn nyAsamEshAm thapasAm athirikthamAhu: <\/em>[thaiththirIya upanishath nArAyaNavalli &#8211; 50]&#8217; (Thus, this nyAsam (<em>SaraNAgathi<\/em>) is said as the top-most penance), <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> is a follower of <em>prapaththi <\/em>which is supreme among all the <em>thapas;<\/em> due to this only, you see, he is followed by the clan of prapannas and is the head of prapannas.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>irAmAnusan \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>such <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>kattap poruLai maRaip poruL enRu \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>As per <strong>\u2018<\/strong><em>para brahmaiva agyam brama parigatham samsarathi <\/em><em>thath parOpadhyAleedam<\/em> [vEdhArththa sangraham]\u2019,((other philosophies) say brahmam is having <em>agyAnam<\/em> (lack of knowledge), it is having <em>brAnthi<\/em> (confusion) and so is toiling in material world, and when it realizes this then it gets liberated)\u2019, etc., it contradicts <em>upa-brahmaNams, <\/em>contradicts <em>sUthrams, <\/em>and contradicts <em>prathyaksham<\/em> (plain sight) , and so they are lowly; them saying that these are meanings of vEdham;\u00a0 <em>kattam \u2013 <\/em>lowly \/ imaginary,<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>kayavar sollum \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>As said in \u2018<em>mAyAvAdham asach-chAsthram pracchannah baudhdham uchyathE mayaiva kalpitham dhEvi kalau brAhmaNa rUpiNA <\/em>[<em>pAdhma purANa<\/em>m]\u2019 (Sivan saying: O pArvathI, in the age of kali I shall descend in the form of a brahmaNa to spread this mayAvAdha philosophy which is actually buddhism in disguise), deceitful to the world, they say that there is no divine form (<em><a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">vigraham<\/a>)<\/em>, no natural auspicious qualities, no place like said in \u2018<em>pAdhOsya viSvA bhUthAni<\/em> <em>thripAdhasyAmruthamdhivi <\/em>[purusha sUktham 13]\u2019 (all of this material realm (which contains unlimited 14-layered universes) is a quarter portion of His wealth), there is no characteristic of being<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\"> husband of lakshmI<\/a> which is said in \u2018<em>hreeshchathE lakShmeeScha pathnyau\u2019<\/em> (He is having <em>divine consorts SrIdhEvi, bhUmA dhEvi<\/em> and <em>neeLA dhEvi<\/em>), and for these explanations they say that they are inner meaning of vEdhas &#8211;\u00a0 such mis-interpreters like <em>Sankara<\/em>, et al., which they explain in detail; <em>kayavar \u2013 <\/em>those having lowly\/bad path\/ways.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>pettaik kedukkum pirAn allanE \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>Isn\u2019t he the helper who removed such deceitful sentences.<\/p>\n<p><em>pettu &#8211;<\/em>&gt; deceitful sentence<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>pettai kedukkum<\/strong> \u2013 pettu -&gt;<\/em> their bad prabandhams (their Slokas\/poems) which are fully badly twisted, as said in \u2018<em>pankantharitha gunjEna SankarOdhyartha palyathA\u2019<\/em>, the lowly poems that they created; <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> removed such very lowly arguments by using, as celebrated in \u2018<em>yatheendhra matha sUkthi artha svachchandhagadhi rathnavath\u2019<\/em> (like a clean gem that is very clear, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>\u2019s words have very clear explanations), and being able to remove the tangles of <em>vEdhAntham <\/em>as said in \u2018<em>chirandhana sarasvathee chikura bandha sairandhrikA\u2019<\/em>, such arguments full of truth through SrIbAshyam and such prabandhams.<\/p>\n<p>Now, since he did this by himself and not done in response to someone asking for it, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\">amudhanAr<\/a> gets convinced that all these acts of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> are due to his causeless mercy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>From AzhwAr thirunagari SrI u.vE. vidhwAn thirumalai nallAn chakravarththi rAmakrishNa iyengAr\u2019s \u2018<\/strong><em><strong>amudha virundhu<\/strong><\/em><strong>\u2019 :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>kattap poruL \u00ad <\/em>&#8211; <\/strong>\u00a0also means \u2013 for those with true knowledge, the deceitful words of those other philosophies would cause difficulty\/sorrow.
