all vEdhas and vEdhAnthams establish this), and in \u2018<\/em><em>agala killEn iRaiyum enRu alarmEl mangai uRai mArbA\u2019, <\/em><em>when <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">sarvESvaran<\/a> accepts a devotee, He does so while being together with <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\"><em>periya pirAtti<\/em><em>y<\/em><em>Ar<\/em><\/a><em> (lakshmI) \u2013 this is shown in all vEdhas \u2013 thus, the husband of Her, the <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">sarvESvaran<\/a>;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>vAnam koduppadhu \u2013 <\/strong><\/em><em>Him giving <\/em><em>SrI vaikuNtam <\/em><em>that is referred to as \u2018<\/em><em>paramAkASam\u2019, <\/em><em>and \u2018<\/em><em>nalam antham illadhOr nAdu\u2019<\/em><em> (place of endless joy)<\/em><em>,<\/em><em> to a devotee is \u2013 <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>gyAnam kanindha nalam koNdu \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>(based on devotion); <strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>first getting the knowledge of their relationship with Him that He is their lord, and meditating upon Him without break or distraction like how oil pours down smoothly (unlike how water would pour down and spatter),\u00a0 and as said in \u2018<em>AprayANath ahar ahar anushteeyamAna mAnakarma <\/em>(Action of devotion every day, from the day the devotion is born till the end of life through the time of reaching SrIvaikuNtam), having such devotion that is based on love (not fear);<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>nalam -&gt;<\/em><\/strong> <em>snEham -&gt; <\/em>that is, devotion.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>nAL thoRum naibavarkku \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>As said in \u2018<em>viLambE thath prApthirbbhajana sukam Ekasya vipulam\u2019<\/em>, (it is a big happiness to reach Him (in the end) and enjoy Him), even though the experience is of enjoyment, since there is delay (in going to SrIvaikuNtam \u2013 due to having to continue that devotion for some births for it to mature more or in case of lapses, etc.), such people would be down in desperation thinking when they would be able do services based on maturity of experience that becomes love,\u00a0 and so they think even a day as thousand eons as said in \u2018<em>oru pagal Ayiram UzhiyAlO\u2019<\/em>, and till they reach that destiny they would be in that state as said in \u2018<em>kAl Azhum nenju azhiyum kaN suzhalum\u2019. \u00a0<\/em>This is shown in all the SAsthrams; (mAdhavan gives mOksham) &#8211; \u00a0to such devotees.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>val vinaiyEn manaththil eenam kadindha irAmAnusan \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>now <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> who removed all traces of lowly long-present sins \u00a0from the mind of me who committed dangerous sins that cannot be removed by experiencing its effects or by amends,<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>thannai eydhinarkku \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>to those who surrendered to him (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>); as said in \u2018<em>thriNeekrutha virinchAdhi nirankuSa vibhUthaya: rAmAnuja padhAmbOja samASrayaNa Salina:\u2019 <\/em>(those who surrender to <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> think of other things as to be neglected), <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>, to those like <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/02\/22\/pillai-uranga-villi-dhasar\/\">piLLai uRangAvilli dhAsar<\/a> (to whom he showed the divine eyes of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">periya perumAL<\/a> and made him devoted to those beautiful eyes), the mute (in whose head <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> placed his divine feet), the huntress (who got a letter from <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> to thirvEnkatam udaiyAn for a place in SrIvaikuNtam)<\/p>\n<p>(Note that the examples shown in the vyAkyAnam are selected from those not having any qualifications of their own, but only the acceptance\/surrendering to <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>);<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>ath thAnam koduppadhu \u2013 <\/em><\/strong><em>(ath thAnam -&gt; that<\/em> place\/position<em>); \u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> giving to them <em>that<\/em> place\/position (SrIvaikuNtam) which is otherwise to be achieved through a long time practice of means in the form of devotion along with all of its (seven) components.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>than thagavu ennum charaN koduththE \u2013\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> gives us his own kindness as the capital, the means; and with the stance that the people who surrender him should not consider even \u00a0that kindness as the means and so makes up some negligible things in us as eligibility, and would give us mOksham which is the definition of ultimate destiny, without any sorrow\/angst.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/ramanuja-showing-paramapadham.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12679\" src=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/ramanuja-showing-paramapadham.jpg\" alt=\"ramanuja-showing-paramapadham\" width=\"487\" height=\"623\" srcset=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/ramanuja-showing-paramapadham.jpg 626w, https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/ramanuja-showing-paramapadham-234x300.jpg 234w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 487px) 100vw, 487px\" \/><\/a><em>emperumAnAr, obedient to his kindness<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\">amudhanAr<\/a> uses the simpler word <strong><em>\u2018eydhinarkku\u2019<\/em> \u00a0<\/strong>(just reached\/surrendered to him and did not make any efforts) \u2013 it shows that <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> does not look for specific type of people or their eligibility, etc., but only their agreeableness, to take them in and give them that destiny.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2018ath\u2019<\/strong> (\u2018that\u2019) implies, \u2018that\u2019 place which is not attainable even for <em>vidhi<\/em> (brahmA), <em>Siva, Sanakan<\/em>, and others.<\/p>\n<p>By this, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\">amudhanAr<\/a> has divined about the greatness of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> giving mOksham.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/mamunigal\/\">jeeyar<\/a> too said, \u2018<em>mA malarAL kOn madiyil vaiththu ugakkum vAzhvu namakku ethirAsan aruLum vAzhvE<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/08\/arththi-prabandham-20\/\">Arththi prabandham \u2013 20<\/a>]\u2019 (the destiny of happiness of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> keeping us in His lap is the destiny given to us only by <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>From AzhwAr thirunagari SrI u.vE. vidhwAn thirumalai nallAn chakravarththi rAmakrishNa iyengAr\u2019s \u2018<em>amudha virundhu<\/em>\u2019 :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>thannai eydhinarkku \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>since <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> gives that destiny only to those who reached\/surrendered to him, the argument of everyone of the world getting mOksham (<em>sarva mukthi prasangam) <\/em>\u00a0cannot arise here.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">SrI mahAlakshmI and emperumAn<\/a> the two are involved in giving mOksham to the ones who are distraught;
