To those who are present with the thought they would not reach the divine feet of emperumAnAr, I would not do any favor even if they showed thousand farms of teeth \u2013 would be the stand of the periya perumAL the almighty; <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/10\/05\/kurathazhwan\/\">kUraththAzhvAn<\/a> losing to such nature of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> had done praises to Him; reaching such divine feet of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/10\/05\/kurathazhwan\/\">kUraththAzhvAn<\/a> whose glory is beyond words \u2013 then <strong><em>inRu <\/em>\u00a0&#8211; <em>iru vinaip pAsam kazhaRRi irundhEn \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>then today I am doing well having broken from ties of karmas.<\/p>\n<p>There are those who recite it as \u2018<em>perum thEva<strong><u>n<\/u><\/strong><\/em>ai\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>When recited as \u2018<em>punmaiyinOrkku <strong><u>en<\/u><\/strong>Rum nanmai seyyA\u2019<\/em>, &#8211; it shall mean that he\/they would not do any good at <strong>any day <\/strong>(to such lowly people).<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>punmaiyinOr \u2013<\/em><\/strong> is \u2013 those having such inferior character\/thoughts.\u00a0 <strong><em>punmai \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>wrong\/evil\/disservice.<\/p>\n<p>By thamizh grammar, <strong><em>inRu + yAn <\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0<\/em>shall be written as <strong><em>inR<u>i<\/u>yAn<\/em><\/strong> (and recited so as well).<\/p>\n<h3><strong>vyAkyAnam<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong><em>em irAmAnusan \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>As said in \u2018<em>thasmin rAmAnujAryE gururithisapthapAthi\u2019 , <\/em>and, \u2018<em>SrImath gurUNAm kulamithamakilam thasya nAthasya SEsha:\u2019, <\/em>the lord of SrIvaishNavas that is emperumAnAr \u2013 his \u2013<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>mannu mAmalarth thAL \u2013 <\/em><\/strong><em>mannu -&gt;<\/em> it is being steadfast and unwavering in the protection of those who have surrendered to one\u2019s divine feet. Like saying <em>\u2018thiN kazhal\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Greatness of flower is its having the qualities like radiance, tenderness, fragrance, purity etc.. The divine feet that are similarly pure and enjoyable. The divine feet that are praised as \u2018<em>seerArum ethirAsar thiruvadigaL\u2019,<\/em> and \u2018<em>azhagArum ethirAsar adi iNaigaL\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>porundhA nilaiyudaip punmaiyinOrkku<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 Being idiotic like fist of monkey and not come and surrender, such lowly ones having bad nature;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>onRum nanmai seyyA \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>Not doing even a little good for such people<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>perum thEvarai &#8211; <\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<em>thEvar<\/em>: brahmA, rudhran et al.\u00a0 <em>perum thEvar: <\/em>\u00a0are <em>nithyasUris <\/em>as said in \u2018<em>yathra pUrvE sAdhyAssanthi dhEvA:\u2019. <\/em>dhivyasUris having such nature;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>paravum periyOr tham \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>The noble ones who at all times and in all ways be praising those and as mentioned in the Slokam of \u2018<em>mAthA pithA uvathaya:\u2019, <\/em>and the SlOkam of \u2018<em>bhUtham saraScha\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>periyOr \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>Greatness is due to knowledge, so greatness is mainly based on knowledge (<em>gyAna pradhAnam).<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/kuraththazhvan_mudhaliyandan_and_devotes_0181.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9249\" src=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/kuraththazhvan_mudhaliyandan_and_devotes_0181.jpg\" alt=\"kuraththazhvan_mudhaliyandan_and_devotes_0181\" width=\"422\" height=\"563\" srcset=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/kuraththazhvan_mudhaliyandan_and_devotes_0181.jpg 500w, https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/kuraththazhvan_mudhaliyandan_and_devotes_0181-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 422px) 100vw, 422px\" \/><\/a><em>periyOr<\/em><\/p>\n<p>One who is beyond words that is <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/10\/05\/kurathazhwan\/\">kUraththAzhvAn<\/a>, his and such noble ones \u2013<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>kazhal pidiththu \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>divine feet to be surrendered to.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<strong><em>irAmAnusan mannu mA malarth thAL porundhA nilai udaip punmaiyinOrkku onRum nanmai seyyA perum thEvar\u2019 \u00ad<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 &#8211; could be said as periya perumAL (He would not do any thing good for those who do not wish to surrender to emperumAnAr), and in that case, \u2018<strong><em>paravum periyOr\u2019<\/em> <\/strong>\u00a0would be about <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/18\/nammazhwar-english\/\">parAnkuSa<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\">parakAlan<\/a>, et al.<\/p>\n<p>Or, \u2018<strong><em>perum thEvar\u2019<\/em> <\/strong>can be applied to refer to emperumAnAr, and <strong><em>\u2018paravum periyOr kazhal pidiththu\u2019 <\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>to \u2013 being in the steadfastness of being servant to series of servants to the last level of them;<\/p>\n<p>When recited as \u2018<strong><em>punmaiyinOrkku <u>en<\/u>Rum nanami seyyA\u2019<\/em><\/strong> , it shall mean to say \u2013 not helping at <u>any time<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>punmaiyinOr \u2013<\/em><\/strong> is \u2013 those having such inferior character\/thoughts.\u00a0 <strong><em>punmai \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>wrong\/evil\/disservice.<\/p>\n<p>After it is in this way \u2013<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>irundhEn iru vinaip pAsam kazhaRRi \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>I am in the state of having crossed the ties that are hindrance to reaching the goal, the ties related to two types based on good and bad deeds;\u00a0 since these are reasons for attachments,\u00a0 they are referred as hindrance to reaching the goal;<\/p>\n<p>What is to be reached is what He said as \u2018<em>sarva pApEbhyO mOkshayishyAmi\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>inRiyAn iRaiyum varundhEn ini \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>now I shall not suffer even for a second due to the sadness of material world (samsAram).<\/p>\n<p>It concludes that as said in \u2018<em>athraiva SrIrangE sukhamAsva\u2019 <\/em>the harshness of samsAram shall not affect me even for a second, and shall be with the happy tasteful experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>From AzhwAr thirunagari SrI u.vE. vidhwAn thirumalai nallAn chakravarththi rAmakrishNa iyengAr\u2019s \u2018<em>amudha virundhu<\/em>\u2019 :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>irundhEn &#8211; <\/em><\/strong>\u00a0after reaching the divine feet of devotees of emperumAnAr, I reached my destiny; so I don\u2019t have to do anything more; I have completed what I have to do (in this world).
