after that<br \/>\n<em>sudar mikku \u2013 <\/em>without ending\/diminishing, with the unbounded brightness due to accepting me,<br \/>\n<em>ezhundhadhu<\/em> \u2013 that brightness became more prominent, and is looking for whether there are more like this whom can be accepted;<br \/>\n<em>aththAl \u2013 <\/em>because of that,<br \/>\n<em>irunilam \u2013 <\/em>the big earth<br \/>\n<em>nal athisayam kaNdadhu \u2013 <\/em>saw the great wonder.<\/p>\n<p>Or, for <strong><em>rAmAnusan than pugazh sudar mikku ezhundhadhu \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>even after taking me who is a sinner, as servant, his glory is not diminishing and not only that, it is flourishing and appeared with unsurpassed\u00a0 brightness.\u00a0 In that case, <strong><em>ezhundhu \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>appeared.<\/p>\n<p>When recited as <strong><em>irAmAnusan <u>thol<\/u> pugazh &#8211; <\/em><\/strong>\u00a0thol -&gt; thonmai -&gt; from ancient times -&gt; since it has been present from ancient times, the auspicious qualities, they are being according to true nature, and ancient\/staying \u2013 such qualities are flourishing this way;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>kozhundhu vittu<\/em> -&gt; <\/strong>the karmas are present and flourishing .<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>vemmai \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>terrible\/cruel;<em>\u00a0 <strong>kOL \u2013<\/strong><\/em><strong> <em>midukku <\/em><\/strong><em>&#8211;\u00a0 <\/em>strength.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>vyAkyAnam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>aru munivar thozhum thavaththOn \u2013 aru \u2013\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong>\u2018<em>sa mahAthmA su dhurlabha:\u2019<\/em> \u2013 said gIthAchAryan because he thought &#8220;Alas! <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/18\/nammazhwar-english\/\">nammAzhvAr<\/a> incarnated only after the completion of my incarnation, and so could not get the dharSan of him during my time!&#8221;, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/10\/05\/periyavachan-pillai-english\/\">periyavAchchAn piLLai<\/a> divines the meaning for this phrase from <a href=\"http:\/\/githa.koyil.org\/\">SrI bhagavath gIthA<\/a>, so \u2018<strong><em>aru\u2019<\/em> <\/strong>\u00a0refers to <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/18\/nammazhwar-english\/\">nammAzhvAr<\/a> who was hard for Him to get\/see.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>munivar \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>As \u2018<em>vAsudhEvas sarvam\u2019, <\/em>and, <em>\u2018uNNum sORu, parugu neer, thinnum veRRilaiyum ellAm kaNNan emperumAn<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a>]<em>\u2019<\/em>, these are the meanings he was thinking in meditation for sixteen years, which he revealed as dhivya prabandham.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/10\/05\/periyavachan-pillai-english\/\">periyavAchchAn piLLai<\/a> divined this meaning as well.\u00a0 In this way the completely rare to get <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/18\/nammazhwar-english\/\">nammAzhvAr<\/a>, and those who got his grace, that is, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/22\/nathamunigal\/\">nAthamunigaL<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/01\/alavandhar\/\">AlavandhAr<\/a>, were worshiping the \u2018<em><a href=\"http:\/\/bhavishyadhacharyan.koyil.org\">bhavishyadhAchArya vigraham<\/a>\u2019<\/em>, and were meditating upon his divine incarnation, and were living taking a lot of efforts,\u00a0 so <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\">amudhanAr<\/a> is calling them together as <em>\u201c<strong>munivar<\/strong>\u201d<strong>.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>thozhum \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>As said in \u2018<em>pUrvE mUrdhnAnvayam upagathAkEsikA mukthimApthA:\u2019<\/em>, they are of the faith that he (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>) only is the <em>udhdhArakar<\/em> (who can lift us up from this material world); <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> is such;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>thavaththOn\u00a0 &#8211; <\/em><\/strong>he follows the path of SaraNAgathi, who is as praised in \u2018<em>thasmAnyAsamEshAm thapasAmathirikthamAhu:\u2019; kAnchIpuram)<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>kozhundhu vittOdip padarum venkOL vinaiyAl nirayaththu azhundhiyittEnai \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>That which flourishes more and more, and quickly, spanning the world, and as said in \u2018<em>dhurAchAra:\u2019, <\/em>is in the form of doing what should not be done, and not doing what should be done, and so is the target of punishment by <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> as said in \u2018<em>kshipAmi\u2019, <\/em>and \u2018<em>nakshamAmi\u2019<\/em>,\u00a0 and<\/p>\n<p>as said in \u2018<em>yath brahma kalpa niyuthAnubhavEbhyA nASyam\u2019, <\/em>those bad deeds could not be rectified by experiencing its effects or by doing amends \u2013 due to such strong bad karma, I am drowned in this material world and where I cannot find the shore,\u00a0 such world that is of endless sorrows and which is said as \u2018<em>maRRa narakam\u2019, <\/em>that is the opposite of the great happiness of the higher world (SrIvaikuNtam); \u00a0\u00a0<strong><em>vemmai \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>terrible\/cruel;<em>\u00a0 <strong>kOL \u2013<\/strong><\/em><strong> <em>midukku <\/em><\/strong><em>&#8211; \u00a0<\/em>strength.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>vandhAtkoNda pinnum<\/em><\/strong><em> \u2013 <\/em>at the time when I did not know to ask that I should be saved, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> due to his voluntary grace, from SrIvaikuNtam, came down searching for me to the place I was in, and without discarding me seeing my lack of knowledge, got me as his servant; after that \u2013 only after getting (the lowly) me &#8211;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>sudar mikkezhundhadhu \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>Not getting satiated with just that, due to accepting me and saving me, it got unbounded glory and grew further; it grew looking for similar people who could be accepted; like how after surrendering to <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\">amudhanAr<\/a>\u2019s state changed, after the glory of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> came and accepted <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\">amudhanAr<\/a>, they flourished further and further;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>aththAl nal athisayam kaNdadhu iru nilamE \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>Due to the uprising of his auspicious qualities after accepting me who am a complete sinner, as said in \u2018<em>vasundharA puNyavathee\u2019, <\/em>the earth felt relieved that its load (of bad) would reduce.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>iru nilam \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>in the world that is so wide;\u00a0 <strong>iru<em>mai \u2013<\/em><\/strong> greatness; Or, <strong><em>iru nilam<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 in this earth that is very wide;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>aththAl nal athisayam kaNdadhu \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>This can also be explained as &#8211; only after gracing the sinners like me did <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a>\u2019s auspicious qualities grew with boundless glory, so, due to that uprising, its wonder was seen by everyone in the world;<\/p>\n<p>It can be read together as \u2013 \u2018<strong><em>sudar mikku ezhundhadhu \u2013 kozhundhu vittu Odip padarum <\/em><\/strong>\u2013 and the meaning can be said as &#8211; those uprising auspicious qualities after accepting me, got the disease\/wanting of wishing to save more and more people like me if they are present in this world, and so grew more and more and spanned and covered the whole world in all directions.<\/p>\n<p>This is the nature of the glory of auspicious qualities of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> \u2013 is the thought here.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>From AzhwAr thirunagari SrI u.vE. vidhwAn thirumalai nallAn chakravarththi rAmakrishNa iyengAr\u2019s \u2018<em>amudha virundhu<\/em>\u2019 :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>kozhundhu vittu &#8230; venkOL vinaiyAl \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>If one tries to do one sin, then it would flourish more and more and quickly keep spreading. Such sins are strong; they were not removable even till now by <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a>;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>nirayaththu azhundhiyittEnai vandhAtkoNda pinnum \u2013 <\/em><\/strong><em>nirayam -&gt; <\/em>hell; here, it is this <em>samsAram <\/em>(material world\/life).<\/p>\n<p>The sorrows given by servants of yama in hell is limited \u2013 once the sins are exhausted that sorrow would stop. But living in this material world due to our eternal karmas can be never ending sorrows. <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\">amudhanAr<\/a> says he has drowned in such hell; even <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> is not able to lend his long arm to pull him out of it, it seems.
