<\/em>divine feet of<br \/>\n<em>arangan \u2013 <\/em>periya perumAL;<br \/>\n<em>aRpudham ivai <\/em>&#8211; these are the wonders<br \/>\n<em>em irAmAnusan<\/em> \u2013 our <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> who is our lord<br \/>\n<em>seyyum\u2013<\/em> perfoms;<\/p>\n<p><em>aRpudham <\/em>\u2013 smartness of doing the impossible;<\/p>\n<p><strong>vyAk<em>yAnam<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>pArththAn aRu samayangaL padhaippa<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong><em>aRu samayangaL<\/em> are the following: <em>bhaudhdha, chArvAka, SAkya, ulUkya, pASupatha, gANApathya;<\/em> these are the six philosophies that are not truly based on vEdhas (<em>bAhya samayangaL);\u00a0 <\/em>Or, <strong><em>aRu <\/em><\/strong>&#8211; they are very much troublesome to practice;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>padhaippap pArththAn \u2013<\/em><\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> set his eyes on such bad philosophies such that they would be completely destroyed;\u00a0 <em>padhaippa -&gt; in such earth he spanned his glory in all directions such that all including learned and the illiterate would celebrate him;\u00a0 <em>pOrththAn \u2013 <\/em>he covered all the places;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>punmaiyinEn idai<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 sins that are not acquired from others, but performed by me fully as said in \u2018<em>vEmbu muRRak kaippu miguvadhu pOl <\/em>[<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/06\/arththi-prabandham-6\/\">Arththi prabandham &#8211; 6<\/a>]\u2019 (like how the bitterness of a neem tree becomes stronger as it grows over time), and as said in \u2018<em>pApAnAmvA\u2019 <\/em>(all being sinners) and \u2018<em>thEthvagam bhunjathE pApA:\u2019<\/em> (~ instead of performing services as per vEdhas, it is sin for one to do deeds for one\u2019s own benefit)<em>, <\/em>I am being the form of all those sins<strong><em> (punmaiyinEn)<\/em><\/strong>, towards such extreme sinner that is me,<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>thAn pugundhu<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong>even while I had not done any act as any means, and even while I had not prayed for it, without expecting these two from me,\u00a0 he by himself came and entered in,<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>iru vinay &#8211; <\/em><\/strong>\u00a0karmas of two types; \u00a0based on good deeds and bad deeds;<\/p>\n<p>Or, <strong><em>\u00a0iru \u00ad-&gt; <\/em><\/strong><em>irumai<\/em> -&gt; <em>perumai<\/em> -&gt; big ones;<\/p>\n<p>as said in \u2018<em>yath brahma kalpa niyatha anubhavEbhya nASyam thath kilpisham srujathi janthuriha kshaNArththE\u2019,<\/em> (~ even if one experiences the effects of karmAs for the whole life time of brahma, it cannot be exhausted &#8211; he performs such sins in half a second),<\/p>\n<p>and, \u2018<em>pApAnAm prathamOsmyaham\u2019<\/em> (I am the leader of sins)<em>, \u2018mayithishtathi dhush kruthAm pradhAnE\u2019 <\/em>(I stand first among the sins)<em>,\u00a0 \u2018ahamasamyaparAdha chakravarththi\u2019<\/em> (I am the center of all the sins), the sins of mine which cannot be gotten rid of based on experiencing its effects or by amends, or by any great ones;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>theerththAn <\/em><\/strong>\u2013 he very easily wiped those sins like someone could wipe the writings in sand;<\/p>\n<p>as said in \u2018<em>vAnO maRi kadalO mArudhamO theeyagamO kAnO orungiRRuk kaNdilamAl <\/em>[periya thiruvanthAdhi \u2013 54]\u2019 ((after surrendering to <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a>) I am not able to locate my karmas. Have they vanished in to space? Or in to the sea of riding waves? Or in to the air? Or fire? Or forest? I don\u2019t know where they have vanished into), and as said in \u2018<em>summenAdhE kai vittOdith thURugaL pAyndhanavE<\/em> [periyAzhvAr thirumozhi \u2013 5.4.3]\u2019 (the sins ran away without trace), he removed it with all its trace;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>theerththu<\/em> <\/strong>\u2013 in this way after protecting me, then without resting on such laurels,<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>arangan <\/em>\u00a0&#8211; <\/strong>and not resorting to adivising many other ways like go and surrender at the far out paramapadham,\u00a0 go in the way of yOgam and surrender to <em>antharyAmi,<\/em> etc., instead &#8211; being very easy, and being present in the place of my presence, such periya perumAL\u2019s,<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>seyya thALiNaiyOdu ArththAn \u2013<\/em><\/strong> As said in \u2018<em>arangaththammAn thiruk kamala pAdham<\/em> [amalanAdhipirAn &#8211; 1]\u2019 (the lord <em>azhagiya maNavALan <\/em>who is lying down in kOyil (SrIrangam), his divine lotus feet came by themselves into my eyes, it appears so), being very beautiful to see, the divine feet that have got equals as only each other \u2013 he bound my connection to such divine feet of periya perumAL.\u00a0 He made the relation of the lord and his servant to be very clear to me; \u00a0<em>Arththu \u2013 <\/em>binding together.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>ivai em irAmAnusan seyyum aRpudhamE<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong>all the aforementioned are the wonderful deeds of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> \u00a0who incarnated for us;<\/p>\n<p>Like <em>chakravarththy thirumagan (SrI rAman)<\/em> who went to the forest to honor the words of his father,\u00a0 but he did not stop with that, and destroyed the <em>rAkshasAs, <\/em>built the divine bridge, and gave their own kingdoms of <em>mAhArAjar <\/em>and <em>vibheeshaNAzhvAn<\/em> to them<em>, <\/em>etc.,<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\">emperumAnAr<\/a> too started doing one thing and then performed great acts beyond human ability, you see!<\/p>\n<p>Isn\u2019t this the way of great souls?
