Full Series<\/a><\/p>\n << Previous<\/a><\/p>\n Introduction<\/b><\/p>\n Thus, Erumbiappa experienced the daily rituals like <\/span>Abigamanam, Upadanam and Ejjyai <\/span><\/i>of his Acharya Manavala Mamunigal in Purva Dinacharyai.<\/span><\/p>\n Now, he experiences the fourth ritual of <\/span>Svadhyaya<\/span><\/i> of Mamunigal. Among the several <\/span>Svadhyayas<\/span><\/i>, one type is discoursing Purvacharya\u2019s <\/span>granthas <\/span><\/i>to the disciples. This is being mentioned in <\/span>Uttara Dinacharyai Sloka<\/span><\/i> 1 <\/span>Vakyalankruti Vakyanam Vyakyadaram.<\/span><\/i> But thinking about the newly written <\/span>Stotra<\/span><\/i> called <\/span>Yathiraja Vimsati,<\/span><\/i> which speaks the devotion on Emberumanar, who is an Acharya to Mamunigal, Erumbiappa repeats the<\/span> Stotra.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n Nammalvar is called <\/span>Prapannajanakutastha,<\/span><\/i> which means that Nammalvar is the <\/span>Mula purusha, <\/span><\/i>the primordial one, in the practice of \u00a0<\/span>Prapatti<\/span><\/i> which speaks that <\/span>Bhagavan<\/span><\/i> is the only means to give liberation. Manavala Mamunigal, who is worshipped by all, got Upadesa on the chronology of Acharyas starting from Nammalvar down to his Acharya Tiruvoymozhi Pillai. The gist of three <\/span>rahasyas<\/span><\/i> viz.<\/span>Tirumantra, Dvaya<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Charama Sloka<\/span><\/i>, mainly speaks that Bhagavat Ramanuja is a means to attain liberation and he is the only to be attained. With such constant bhakti and grace, Mamunigal desired to liberate the people from the cycle of birth, wrote a <\/span>Stotra<\/span><\/i> called \u00a0Yathiraja Vimsati. With a view to \u00a0bless him with no interruptions while writing <\/span>Stotra<\/span><\/i>, he prayed in the first two <\/span>Slokas <\/span><\/i>worshipping Yathiraja.<\/span><\/p>\n This text reveals the gist of <\/span>Rahasyas<\/span><\/i>. Sri Annaappangar Swami, the commentator of this text says the words of three <\/span>Rahasyas<\/span><\/i> combined with 20 in number is accepted in this text. One can notice that Yatiraja Vimsati <\/span>Stotra<\/span><\/i> is the collection of twenty words \u00a0– \u00a0three words on <\/span>Tirumantra<\/span><\/i>, six words on <\/span>Dvaya<\/span><\/i> and eleven words on <\/span>Charama Sloka<\/span><\/i>. The word Vimsati means twenty.<\/span><\/p>\n Thaniyan<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Yah stutim Yathipati prasadineem vyajahara Yathiraja Vimsatim \/<\/i><\/b> Yah <\/i><\/b>\u00a0\u2013 whoever This Taniyan was written by Erumbiappa. \u00a0The word <\/span>Yathipati prasadinee<\/span><\/i> means that this <\/span>Stotra<\/span><\/i> will have effect in getting the grace of Emberumanar for those who recites this. \u00a0The word <\/span>prapannajana chatakambuda<\/span><\/i> means like Emberumanar is like cloud which showers water for the living of a skylark, Emberumanar is helping the people who did prapatti.
