aNdam … – When there was the danger of deluge, emperumAn, the benefactor placed all of the sky, oceans and anchoring mountains, and protected them; the abode where such benefactor resides; the pure, flawless waves bring radiant precious gems, sandalwood, agil (eagle wood) and gold, and make them as heaps and cause radiance to the river; on the southern banks of such river.
thiN thiRalAr – Just as it is said in the “den where lion lives”, the abode where those who are very strong and cannot be defeated by anyone, are densely living.
