pOdhalarndha – Blossomed at the apt time; alternative explanation – blossomed flowers.

pozhil sOlaip puRam engum – In the surroundings which are filled with dense gardens, the waves in the vast river named maNNi, which hit each other, throw up to make the pollen fall down in those gardens. On the southern banks of such river.

mAdhavan thAn uRaiyum idam – The abode where the tasteful person (who enjoys SrI mahAlakshmi) is residing; just as sIthAp pirAtti and he resided in thiruchchithrakUtam. thiruththEvanAr thogai is in thirunAngUr which has fertile fields, the striped beetles consume the honey and are singing songs with tune, as mukthAthmAs would sing sAma vEdham.

thEdhena – Humming of beetles is said as “thenna thenna“.
