Simple translation

Oh you who remain the cause for all others and who recite vEdham which ordains the conduct of people and the birth etc of maharishis who can visualise the manthrams in such vEdham! Oh lord of beautiful thiruvAli! Oh you who eliminate the mischief and rule over me! Oh my lord! For me who is reciting your thousand names, falling at your divine feet and praise and hold you as refuge, please give a response for my means for the distinguished goal.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

Odhi … – For me who reached you reciting your divine names with my mouth, falling at your divine feet and praising you.

oru poruL – You should explain me the principle saying “This is the means through which you can attain me”.

vEdhiyA – Oh you, who are known by vEdham only!

araiyA … – Oh you who eliminate my mischief and rule over me! Oh my lord! You should mercifully speak a word. You should mercifully say a word like in SrI bhagavath gIthA 18.66 “mA Sucha:” (Don’t worry) to liberate me.

nIdhi … – vEdham which ordains the conduct of people.

mAmuniyALar thORRam – The birth of the sages who can visualise the manthrams in such vEdham; reciting these, oh you who are the cause for all! This implies, emperumAn creates the objects based on the words in vEdham, as existed previously. That is, as the word “bhU:” occurs, he creates earth. In this manner, creating each object, reciting the apt words.
